Tidball's has been our go-to for many years. They've fixed slow/clogged drains for our bathroom sinks and for our big basement floor drain.

Bruce abd Kolin were very friendly and were good at explaining things to me as they went. They were…read moreable to identify a leak and told me to keep an eye on it until I can get it fixed and also helped put in an estimate for future renovations I plan. Some of it was kinda pricy but that may just depend. Also, maybe for future customers, when scheduling let them know the water will be turned off? my dish washer was running still when they showed up and when they turned off the water, it got stuck in the cycle and I had to restart it. But overall a great experience and got free drain cleaner as well!

So, for the third time in the past few years, John Henry's canceled -- at the last minute -- a…read moreservice request made more than a week in advance, telling me to call them to reschedule. It's pretty inconvenient, when you make arrangements to stay home from work to cover their "sometime between 8 a.m. and noon" timeframe only to have them cancel at 8:02. I understand emergencies come up; I get it. (Of course, I recall the time a few years back when I had an emergency and it was like pulling teeth with a spoon to get them to come out the same day.) But when this happens multiple times, it becomes annoying -- especially given their significantly overpriced services. It makes it even more maddening to know that I was recently talked into a yearlong VIP membership, for which I have now requested a refund and cancellation. Here's a thought: If you have to cancel a scheduled service call become some idiot plugged up his toilet, maybe offer a 10-15% discount on the call once it's rescheduled. Nah, you'd never do that . . . customers are just numbers on the ledger, right? On top of all this, I recently purchased a new furnace/AC from JH, which turned into a multiple-day installation ordeal when they installed the AC and discovered it was defective right out of the box. I congratulate JH's on being so busy they don't have time to service their longtime customers who make appointments more than a week in advance. You now have one fewer 15-year customer to worry about. Hope this helps!
