DO NOT GO HERE. They damaged our car, chipping completely through the paint, and have taken absolutely no accountability for what happened. We reported the damage and went through their claims process, only to have our claim denied. Based on our experience, I would not trust Tidal Wave Auto Spa with my vehicle again. A car wash should not leave you with damage to your vehicle and then refuse to take responsibility when you report it. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. I strongly recommend taking your car elsewhere. We will be pursuing legal action for their bad business. read more

Tidal Wave Auto Spa - Chipped paint from their car wash - Car Wash Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

Don't eobthe monthly plan they increase the price without telling you. Terrible customer service

My experience with Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Wesley Chapel has been absolutely horrible. I originally understood the charge to be for a one-time car wash/service. They had my credit card information, and then I started getting recurring monthly charges. Once I realized what was happening, I tried over and over to cancel the service because, quite honestly, the price wasn't worth it to me. I even called customer service and spoke with a manager. I was specifically reassured that I would not be charged again. Guess what happened? I GOT CHARGED AGAIN. When I called back to get the situation corrected, I was told that I needed to provide proof that I had requested the cancellation and that they were not going to refund my money. So let me understand this: I contacted your company, spoke with management, was told I wouldn't be charged, you charged me anyway, and now I'm expected to prove that I tried to cancel? That is terrible customer service and an unacceptable way to handle a customer's money. What's even more frustrating is that their own website says cancellation can be done online or through the local location and that customers should receive an email confirmation after completing a cancellation request. I don't care how good the car wash is -- it's not worth dealing with billing and cancellation headaches like this. MY ADVICE: BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. READ EVERYTHING. AND IF YOU CANCEL, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I would NOT recommend Tidal Wave Auto Spa based on my experience. DON'T GO. read more

They practice in unsolicited sales practices. I never agreed to a reoccurring payment and they have the audacity to give you a hard time when it comes to canceling. read more

They take your credit card for a one time service and then they start billing you monthly for charges you never authorized. Fundamentally dishonest company and business practices. read more

Ripped the antenna off the top of my car! The worst part was , they didn't care at all and were really rude about it! It was disturbing in shocking! It took me 2 years to try a car wash again, two years ago , it took the paint off my car! DON'T DO IT! READ THE COMPLAINTS NOT RHE REVIEWS, GET THE TRUTH! read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! Pulled in right before closing with what I thought was mud all over my car. Turns out it was pavement tar. Oliver and Keith stayed after closing, got on the ground, and removed it by hand with care and precision. They refused a tip and only cared that I left happy. This level of service is incredibly rare. Tidal Wave just earned a customer for life!! read more

Be careful this company will somehow set up a reoccurring payment on your card without permission and won't answer their phone

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. The service at Oldsmar Tidal Wave Auto Spa fell well below expectations, and now the recent steep price increase of 25% that i received this morning felt totally unreasonable and out of proportion to what was provided. This is just not worth it! read more

I not especially reviewing the car wash facility. It's the corporate customer service . They do everything possible into making sure they keep charging you even when your monthly account is cancelled . Please Google and read their reputation . I had a terrible time getting charges taken off my credit card . read more

I have the membership for unlimited washes since there is a location by my house. This is the new location that opened near the Costco in Wesley Chapel. The area gets very busy. The car wash entrance is easy enough however it shares the same area with other businesses so it can get a bit backed up when trying to enter. Actually like that they have a shaded area for staff to stand when taking the initial soapy brush to your car. Keeps them out of the hot Florida sun. They have parking areas in 2 sections for wiping down / drying your car and vacuuming. Love that their vacuums have high suction. This is something that ours lacks. My location used to have high suction but not they don't. The exit is a different story. It was quite confusing since they had cones up on what appeared to be the way that you'd exit. And the only side Open was the sauce with an arrow pointing to enter. We went the other way but then noticed that when we turned the corner that it said 1 way going the opposite direction. Oh well. We made it out with no issues. read more

Tidal Wave Auto Spa (8616 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, TX) I went in for a car wash on April 21st and the gentleman told me just pay for the month its $12. I said no these places always say that and then continue to charge your card. He assured me this wouldn't happen so against my better instinct here we are now. I have since been charged not once but twice for March and April in the amount of $23.97. Be aware these guys say anything to get your card information in the hopes you just don't see the charges... read more

As the conveyor pulled my car towards the end of the X4 $30 car wash, I heard a very loud overhead noise. It sounded as if my car roof was being pulled off. Once wash exit light went from yellow to green. I exited my car to find a 4.5 ft roof trim have been ripped from my car by the cloth towel roller. The towel roller piece was still lodged in the trim. The wash employee told me that this is "not uncommon" and it "happens a lot". I did have to call the police department out to make a report and I asked to see the wash video. I was denied access to the video of my car in the car wash and have requested that the video stays intact for legal purposes. I am requesting that Tidal Wave repair/replace the roof trim that was torn off by their faulty towel roller equipment. The wash employee offered to tape the trim back to my car which was not acceptable. I will update review as needed. Here are the pictures of the piece of towel roller and the damage to my car. I do not recommend using this carwash! Update: Tidal wave will not return phone call or email. I have BBB working on this as it will most likely go before a judge. read more

I wish I could give them zero Stars after speaking with their horrible customer service agent Jenny!! They refused to transfer me to a supervisor or Manager or even have someone in management call me back. I initially thought the world of this Car Wash Company. As a new promotion they were offering their best car wash $29.99 for $24.99 a $5 off Promo and it was good for a month, but it would automatically renew unless you canceled 2 weeks prior to the start of the new 30-day cycle at the regular price which should have been $29.99 but no now they say it's $49.99 plus tax!! $53.47 As soon as I got the alert for the charge from my credit card company I started trying to contact this company by phone and on their website but they don't call you back and their phone system is horrible, I waited an hour before I got through to someone while I was on hold listening to a crazy recording that doesn't respond to you entering any of the selections offered!! When I did finally get through, I spoke to young lady named Jenny who said that they could not do anything because the new period had started and I had gone through three times and that if they were to cancel then they would have to charge me $30 for each of those car washes!! But I broke down the math to her; if it's $50 per month and you can go up to 30 times in a 30-day period then it's really only $1.67 for each car wash and I said; well go ahead and charge me $1.67. times 3 and give me my refund for the difference and cancel my membership, but they refused. This con job is known as bait and switch and it is illegal!!! Do NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! Verify your auto renewals for the correct amount as they will not issue any refunds any credits and just have lousy customer service just crooked company!!! read more

Great car wash. Their service reps are first class, especially Hunter. He went beyond expectations to fix a minor issue. Takes around 15 minutes for our car to look brand new again. Well worth the price. read more

At least the vehicle is clean. when entering the wash the individual pre-sprays the vehicle, but usually only gets 1/2 to 3/4 sprayed before moving onto the next car. The gate attendants are always friendly and courteous. Recently signed up for a wash program and wanted to suspend while traveling for a month, but apparently that is not an option. You can only cancel and then restart, which I guess works, but expected better account management from their website. Tried to call them to get clarification on my options, but when they recorded announcement told me to hold I was cut off 3 times. When I finally was able to remain on hold I disconnected after 9 minutes. Guess I will just terminate my plan and reactivate next fall. Customer service is a 0-1, but the wash itself is a 5 so I am giving them a 3. read more

They are try to take money from my bank for something I never authorized. I'm really pissed off

The rolling windshield dryer damaged my windshield wipers - twice!!! NO MORE!!! I canceled my $50.00 a month membership!!!!

The WORST rip off that anyone can imagine! Unless you live in a tent without running water and electricity SAVE your $ and do it yourself. I was there to get mine and my wife's car , I thought washed and detailed . As I entered, I was immediately met By Richard (who should be a panhandler, or work in a Carnival, selling con games) who proceeded to" give me the special like no other. The DEAL was for $24.99+tax dollars the first month (That is per wash mind you), what he told me after he ran my credit card is that it AUTOMATICALLY rolls over and over and the price after a month goes up to $49.97! Now Mind you, after that, you pull your vehicle forward and are met by two young kids the first one swabs the front of your car only with a soapy mop and the second another youngster that guides your car into an auto car wash. Finally you are directed to Vacuums that YOU have to use yourself, no one there to clean the inside but you, for a service that will cost $50 next month!! No Armor all for your dashboard. Now here I am vacuuming my car out and I see the weather stripping from my roof, and here comes Richard again!!! He asks "is there a problem"? At this point I show him the weather striping and he says I'll have to look at the Video of your car wash and hands me the "SITE LEADER'S" card. Well I have photos of my damage. I called Mr. Robert Gambino on my way home to explain my dissatisfaction, when the weather stripping was brought up I was told that I should have read the fine print on the sign before I entered. When explaining this issue to Mr. Gambino, he said if I had such a bad experience I should go back to my old wash which I will, it is a stones throw away and does a COMPLETE JOB, Inside and out Bkleen Car Wash on the same road for $28. Mr. Gambino also assured like me that folks me that 900 people signed up for this revolving rip off. I will be sharing my MAJOR disappointment, the damage to my car , the attempt to get you to sign up for a revolving credit card charges and lack of competed service, to All the Organizations that I am a member of (American Legion, Am Vets, VFW, Moose etc.) and also to Goggle and BBB ( if they are even a member) Guess what, I just looked they are NOT!. read more

Spent the big money 26.00 and had to clean off the bugs on the front myself.. I do not recommend them over a cheap wash at a gas station. Not planning on going back I spent 30 minutes cleaning the bugs off. They spent maybe 30 seconds washing the grill upon entry. read more

Caused deep scratches to my vehicle and they are refusing to take liability for it even though I filed a claim minutes after hearing something striking my vehicle in the tunnel of the Kennesaw, GA location. They are also refusing to provide a prorated refund of my 12 month prepaid membership. About 10 months were remains for two vehicles. We were informed we could cancel at anytime and were provided with a flyer that confirmed that. The rep did not mention nor did the flyer include anything informing me that no refunds are issued. They clean the car well but they offer free rag use. The rags smell like mold and mildew, I doubt they wash them at all not sure? While I liked the wash when I brought it to the attention of the clerk, she said fine, I will cancel your membership. The problem is they cancelled the membership THAT DAY, a membership that was paid for a month into the future. Be careful going to this carwash. They will sign you up for a membership w/out your consent and charge you until you catch it on your credit card statement. terrible customer service.....ripped me off. submitted a cancelation ticket 16 days before billing cycle, no answer from company, was billed anyway. attempted to contact customer service on multiple occasion only to be left listening to elevator music and there adds. when a customer servicve agent finally answered, i was informed that they couldn't do anything it would have to go the dispute department, when asked to be transfered, they do not have a phone number or a transfeer line for the despute department. the depute department is only avalible to resond to youre request via e-mail ( that should be a big red flag for you) so basically any disputes or cancellations are lost on there end and you have no recourse. they tell you there is nothing they can do, you have to fight it out with youre bank. good luck cancelling or getting a despute handeled. do not use tidal wave auto spa....you have been warned! they dont even deserve the one star rating i gave them just to post the review. read more
