From the moment you walk in, the decor, plants, foods, and gifts are beautiful. We found ourselves posing for family photos throughout our first experience! As a big time foody, I was impressed that they sold lots of amazing regional products that most people have never heard of. They had Lenka Bars! (Homemade delicious gewey granola bars from York PA! September Farms Yogurt! They had our favorite amazing creamy fresh yogurt brand from Lancaster PA! Wind Hill Farms! They carried pastries from a great Amish area bakery famous for their fry pies! Kauffmans Apple Cider! They had delicious fresh Apple Cider from Intercourse PA! There were many other great regional food brands. My wife loved the jewelry, women's gift items, beautiful garden tools, plants, and home decorating items. We dont drink but they had lots of options for those who do. We didnt try the coffee bar at the counter but there looked like many great options. The bathroom was very clean and well kept for travelers. The staff were welcoming and friendly! A labor of family love from Mike, Liz, and John their son, this place is absolutely beautiful! Everything procured is well thought-out, from local farms, vendors, and artisans. The impressive garden grounds from the terrarium to the outdoor space are wide bright and abundant. The selection of plants is stunning. I sincerely appreciate the care and time the friendly staff take to manicure and cultivate all the plants from various species and sizes. I enjoyed the pristine displays and design of each section with selections of eco-friendly clean products, and great attention to the health of the plants. The cafe stirs up hot beverages and refreshing juices, sandwiches and small bites of fesh fruits and salads are all also local and available. Future planning for events and classes are underway. There is ample parking. Mike and Liz, congratulations on the fruition of your beautiful vision! So excited to see TR grow. Thank you so much for building TR to the community in Hebron. I love this place so very much!!! They have houseplants at super reasonable prices - so beautiful and well taken care of..and everything you could want for your plants - watering cans, pots, you name it!!! And not only do they have plants...indoor and outdoor plants, they have fun housewares, gifts for friends and family, and FOOD!!! They have tons of delicious drinks to order from coffee to chai and then there's the cider, beer, and wine to go - oh and nonalcoholic drinks to boot! Honestly, if I lived closer I would be in BIG trouble!!! Because they have outdoor spaces so you can buy amazing things and sit, eat, and drink on the premises too!! The indoor and outdoor spaces are equally captivating--every corner is thoughtfully arranged and full of charm. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just browsing, it's easy to find something special. I picked up a gorgeous houseplant for my plant-loving mom, several seed packets for my cut flower and herb garden, a few bottles of wine to enjoy this summer, plus a fun cocktail slush mix I can't wait to try at our Memorial Day gathering. Tidal Roots also serves delicious, piping hot coffee, and they offer beer and wine for sale, making it a perfect little pit stop or destination all on its own. The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful--the kind of hospitality that makes the whole visit feel warm and personal. This place is absolutely amazing! I was blown away by the landscape from the moment I walked in the door all throughout the outside garden center. I was impressed with the wide selection of plants that you can't find at other garden centers along with the fabulous selection of healthy food options! As a health food enthusiast, it was pleasant to find not only vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and allergy friendly options but also locally grown meats and produce! They even have a coffee bar and healthy grab and go options which make a perfect lunch break destination for anyone stuck in an office all day and wants to grab a bite to eat and walk around! The best part about this place is the prices! Even though walking in, I thought wow what a high end market but was so happy to see the low price. I got several items and was shocked at how low my total was! Where when I grocery shop, I only get a few items and have a mini heart attack when I see the total. The cashiers were so nice and helpful. I was also happy to find out it's run by a local family and not a big box chain! I can't wait to come back! read more
