Arrived at Alicante Airport last night and got straight in my hired car that I rented online from http://www.malagacars.es/, a ford fiesta and I paid only €3.24 a day, unlimited kilometres... checked into the El Raset Boutique Hotel right next to the port. It's a cool place with free wi-fi and then I eat in the Ticino (within the hotel building) pasta was superb, staff attentive and everything was spotlessly clean, even the restrooms.
