The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a pizza and pasta dish. The bottles of wine are very reasonably priced. The wood-only burning oven make the pizza taste like none I have ever tasted before. read more

All in all, a glass of red wine, a gin and tonic, a daiquiri, and an Old Fashioned. I had the Old Fashioned. I order it quite often, mainly because it's not a drink most places get right and so I try and find the few ones that do. This one does. It was one of the best Old Fashioneds (what would be the plural of Old Fashioned?) I've had and definitely the best in continental Europe that I've tried. The bar itself is visually spectacular, probably the best-looking bar on the Arenal, and the prices are more than reasonable for what you're getting. 4 stars (standard) - 0 (nothing bad) + 1 (great cocktails) = 5 stars

We ordered wine and beer by the glass and the prices for the drinks were really reasonable. At the beginning of the meal, the wait staff was very attentive. We typically order a bunch of dishes to share when we're at a restaurant. Overall, the food was good. However, I felt the rice dish was overpriced and underwhelming. When placing the order, we had contemplated ordering a smaller rice dish (for 2 instead of for 4) and getting another dish. The waiter emphasized how small the dish was. We ended up ordering the 4 and not getting another dish. I feel like that was probably the wrong move. We ordered the eggplant taco appetizer and it was delicious. The tortilla was likely prepared in house. It was thicker than a normal corn tortilla but had this awesome consistency. For some odd reason, the wait staff told us when ordering that the order came with 3 tacos. However, when we got the bill, we were charged 3 times. Our server had gone off shift, and the replacement said no, an order is just one taco. While the tacos were great, I don't think I would spend nearly $30 euros for 3 tacos. We ordered some coffee drinks to go with dessert. But those got lost along the way, and were brought out well after dessert was over. I think we actually got them the same time we got the check. We split 3 different desserts. All 3 were phenomenal. Everyone's favorite was the bread dish. It was labeled as a bread pudding in English. I think the Spanish term is Torrijas. It's not really a bread pudding, more like a French toast. Regardless, it was phenomenal. The dessert and the Peking duck Gyoza was the highlight of the meal. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. If ever go back, I'll do things differently. Maybe split the burger, it looked delicious.

We chose the large one and it was a big mistake - we literally couldn't breath and the food kept coming. There was sooooo much food and everything was super fresh, with home cooked taste, and absolutely delicious! We got started with a large plate of mixed salad, bread toasts with melted cheese and garlic and a side of tomato salsa. Melts in your mouth! Then we got freshly baked toasts with sobrasada and melted cheese, the best mussels I have had since Brussels. We were pretty full at that point when the main course arrived - pork fillet with delicious sauce and potatoes and a pot of interesting rice soup with tomato sauce, green peppers, seafood broth and pieces of pork ( at least this is how it tasted). Looked like a fisherman's rice stew. We ended with a coffee and caramelized vanilla ice cream ( I just couldnt manage a cake option). I would come back to Denia just to eat at this place. Highly recommend

Air Conditioned, Children's Menu, Disabled Facilities, Limited Parking, but street parking normally OK, if not competing with the church. Highly recommend the fillet steak, and the spare ribs. The children's menu is equally good. One of the young chefs came out to talk to us on our second visit.
