As a man getting my very first facial, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the entire experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable, welcomed, and completely at ease. She took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and tailor the treatment to my skin's needs. Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail were outstanding. The facial itself was incredibly relaxing, and my skin has never felt this clean, refreshed, and healthy. What impressed me most was how genuine and passionate she is about helping her clients look and feel their best. You can tell she truly cares about her work and takes pride in providing exceptional service. If you're a guy who's been thinking about getting a facial but isn't sure whether it's for you, I highly recommend giving her a try. I'm glad I did, and I'll definitely be coming back. Five stars all the way! read more

This review is a few days late. My wife bought me a Groupon and I set an appointment but I as I so often do neglected to read the small print. So my original appointment was cancelled. Now I don't know about you but I am constantly sent messages about offers and deals that I have signed up for so when I was sent messages about rescheduling I missed them. Ticia Lea worked with me to get me in before my deal expired. Now that I got that out of the way. The service and she was amazing! I was incredibly relaxed and it was an overall amazing experience. Man or woman I highly recommend that you make appointment and don't be like me if you get a Groupon and read the small print, Thank you for my great experience!!! read more

Ticia is absolutely AWESOME! I have been a faithful client since 2019 and saw her a handful of times for various treatments prior to the pandemic. As of 2022, I've been seeing her consistently every month. I swear by the beauty regimen she gave me and as someone who is on camera, my skin has never looked better! I've been on set and all the make up ladies are so impressed. Often times they don't even put make up on me, just powder to control shine which is a huge compliment. I highly recommend the Derma Channel Nano Infusion Pen! I noticed a HUGE difference the following day after my treatment. My skin was glowing, hydrated and my pores were almost invisible! I texted her and said I was red carpet ready!! Her shop is adorable and she has cultivated such a relaxed and calming energy. Ticia takes the time to discuss your skin concerns and is actually listening and provides useful insight to help with any issues you might have. I must agree with all the 5-star reviews here!! Ticia is an amazing, kind, wonderful human being and a gem of an expert! The level of care and attention she put into the facial I received was amazing. One session and it looks like years of aging and skin damage have been lifted off my face (and skin!!). Ticia was very generous with her time, walking me through every step and giving my face extra tlc as I was way past due on my skincare routines. She is very knowledgeable and cares so much!! If there is one word I can use to describe my experience with Ticia, it would simply be WOW! This woman is the most down to earth, dedicated, honest, and caring individual I've ever met. From the moment I stepped into her studio, I felt welcomed and cared for. She truly wants to give you results and she will not stop until she sees them. She is the sweetest and it shows through her follow ups after your treatment. I have been battling with stubborn acne scars and little by little we have seen such great improvement. She gets just as excited as I do. The work she does is magic because she is simply magic! Definitely have added a layer of confidence to myself after my experiences at Ticia Lee's Health and Beauty! AMAZING! AMAZING experience! For a guy that really doesn't do facials as often as I should, especially now that I'm getting older , I was hesitant about where to go , since I didn't want a big spa experience or a sales pitch on overpriced products. Well , let me tell you , I made the best choice by picking Ticia! I had a hectic day and was running late for my appointment, but Ticia was more than accommodating once I arrived. The facial , products she uses , and her outgoing personality was much needed and appreciated. Ticia shows that she truly cares about your individual needs and goals with regards to skin care. I can honestly say the results were amazing and I can't wait to go back! Felt so relaxed during the session and completely satisfied with the results. I don't know how a facial can get better than this... Ticia really knows her stuff. This was only my second-ever facial and I came in knowing very little about skincare and how skin works. I came out having learned a LOT and am extremely grateful for Ticia's patience and willingness to share her knowledge & advice. read more

I had a gift card from a friend to see Ticia and let me tell you, she changed my life. 10 years ago I was sick and tired of the bs skin care products and I've been using coconut oil ever since. Ticia thoroughly and passionately explained how sensitive my skin was (I didn't really know) and talked me through what was needed. She didn't push to sell anything, it all came from her heart and it was genuine. I left with several items and it did not break the bank. I've been using the products for over a week and I'm so damn happy. I'll go and see Ticia monthly now. She is a real human being, a gem, passionate energy and just a damn good woman. Don't change for anyone, Ticia. Xxx read more

Ticia Lea's Health & Beauty is everything you need for self care. The salon is conveniently located in the heart of North Hollywood. Its quiet and welcoming, a perfect place to relax. Ticia's warm attitude and demeanor made me feel extremely comfortable. I had a facial followed by a cold plasma treatment and I was amazed by the results. Ticia followed up with me to be sure I was satisfied and educated me on products I could purchase for home care. I have been back for a 2nd treatment and have my 3rd scheduled already. I dont know of an aesthetician that cares as much for her clients as Ticia does! It was an excellent experience all around! read more

No one does it like Tecia. She is the absolute best when it comes to self care. She takes her time and uses her skills to create the most perfect and individualized treatment for you. I went today for a facial and it was unlike any I've experienced before. You can tell she is an expert. Her studio is so cozy and Tecia is so welcoming and makes everyone feel seen and cared for. I had a custom facial for my birthday and Ticia did not disappoint! It was my first facial and it was beyond relaxing. Ticia was a godsend. I was going through a stressful time and decided to pamper myself with lash extensions. I had seen pictures of Ticia's work and it looked meticulous. I reached out on a weekend and Ticia was kind enough to stay later to take me that very day. When I arrived, Ticia consulted my lashes and advised me to wait. Apparently my previous lash perm had damaged my eyelashes. I was a little disappointed - I was looking forward to some R&R. Ticia then asked about my face. The stress had taken a toll on me and it was showing. She then told me she started as a facialist and asked if I wanted one. Whattttt?!! This woman is a one stop shop! I said yes of course and before I knew it, I was trying not to fall asleep on her heavenly bed as Ticia gave me one of the most blissful facials I've ever had. Seriously, I was glowing afterwards. Ticia was incredibly soothing, full of gentle advice and information. I'm so happy to have found her and can't wait to return for more of her services. read more

Absolutely loves Ticia's work. She did a custom facial for me and for my Husband...came to the hotel we were staying and did the facials there. Boys! And gentlemen!! If you are looking for getting men's facial and skin care, Ticia IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Of course I definitely recommend her for ladies too but let me tell you my story! First, she made me so comfortable about going to get facial. As a guy, I am definitely low maintenance. I just like to wash my face and put some light lotion and done, call it a day. But I was always very insecure about my skin until I went to Ticia. I have a very oily skin and break out on my face and especially during the summer time I break out on my back as well. I had been always scared to be seen how bad my skin was. I always covered up even when I went to the beach. I was always sad and insecure about my whole skin on my body and wished my skin didn't break out like that. I went to Ticia for my facial and she did an amazing job. I always had blackheads on my nose and that was one of my biggest insecurities as well but she made my skin so clear!! I couldn't be any happier and my skin stayed so nicely. So I felt very comfortable about asking her what she could do about my back. She started my back skin treatment and oh god, it absolutely changed my life. I have got it done twice so far and I don't break out anymore on my back! Wish I knew her long ago already that I could enjoy going to the beach more, right? But thank god, I'm going to Hawaii next month, and FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I'll be comfortable being in a swim suit not covering my back with a big beach towel or wearing a T-shirt. This has been a real life changing experience. I just can not be any happier about this. I'm writing this review because I'm sure there are so many people out there who suffer from what I suffered for my entire life. Being ashamed and feeling insecure about your own skin. But I'm telling you, you gotta go to Ticia. I want people who have the same concerns to know that she literally helped me getting over my insecurities that I suffered for my whole life. Thank you so much Ticia you are the best!!! read more

I have only gotten fake eyelashes for weddings and really liked the way they looked. A customer of my mom's came into her shop with extensions and my mom was so impressed she kept telling me to call and get mine done. I was a bit hesitant but I am so glad I called and set up my appointment. Ticia is FABULOUS! She is super sweet and friendly and does a great job. She really takes the time and makes your lashes look beautiful! I've gone in for the first initial appointment which took about 2 hours and then went in for a refill 3 weeks after that. It's actually a lot more affordable than it used to be and they totally make a difference! If you've been thinking about it, just do it! You won't be disappointed! read more

I am so grateful to have found Ticia Lea! I always wanted to try eyelash extensions because my natural eyelashes are SO blonde so throughout my life I always have had to apply layers of mascara along with false lashes, which is a huge importance for my everyday look. Ticia listens to all of my concerns and does an incredible job achieving my desired look along with protecting my natural lashes. Thanks to Ticia, I Can Wake Up Feeling Confident & Ready To Start My Day! read more

I've often wondered if I overshare on Yelp. HAHAHAHAH! It's about to be a non-question. So I wanted my butt and thighs to look better for summer and I happened to already know Ticia because she's the MAN...whatever, you know what I mean...for lashes. Some people need a little help with their backsides. I had to admit to myself that my tiny, loving, hysterical girl Ticia was about to be that helper. Body sculpting is a process. Pardon me while I describe... She freezes your fat with a lovely smelling block of ice. It isn't pleasant because it's so...dern... cold...but that's the magic, folks! Then she really gets to work. Ask her to put on some jams because this next part is crazy. There are some tools that she uses to manipulate the fat and cellulite and get your circulation going and this part is where you think to yourself "she is a voodoo woman!" Because you are kind of in pain and kind of loving it and mostly just looking forward to what's happening to your booty. And then you feel amazing. Your circulation has kicked in and you see your cellulite starting to disappear and you look and feel firmer and you answer your question... She IS a voodoo woman and you're good with that. Very good with that because you're IN with Ticia and you've seen the magic. In the mirror. It looks good. Practical stuff: Parking is good. VERY private and respectful environment. Worth every penny....OMG have you priced fat sculpting at cosmetic centers??? Wowzers no thank you. I bought a package and that's what I recommend. You do get sore...spoiler alert, but it isn't bad! read more

I want to start by saying Ticia is the kindest most caring PERSON in the business. She truly cares about you as a person and not just a "client". Ticia as a business is just top tier. Literally no comparison. She uses quality products and has quality standards. She is absolutely COVID-19 safe (wears her mask, sanitizes surface areas, washes hands) and even does facials to target mask problems! I've been coming to her for about a year and she listened to my concerns about my pores and acne scars. I listened to her suggestions and went with her treatment plan and I get compliments on my skin all the time now! She is fairly priced for the quality and care you get with her. Please see Ticia, you won't regret it. read more

Ticia! I can't say enough amazing things about this woman! She's been doing my lashes for almost a year. Normally, after a while, I'm completely over it, and go back to just gluing them on. But honestly, i enjoy going and chatting with her while she does them, and occasionally, I'm so relaxed i just fall right to sleep! I recommend her every chance i get! I've also gotten ice sculpting with her once! Thay was so fun as well! I had no idea what to expect hahaha but she gets in there and snatches your waist! Thank you, Ticia! For helping me feel beautiful without any makeup! read more
