I tried all the desserts and there wasn't a single one which I loved, and I've had Indian desserts many times before. I would definitely come back for the food, Albuquerque doesn't really have many options for Indian food and the food here is pretty decent!

It won't be your favorite but you won't regret the exploration. Average dinner price for RR. Only 2 staff worked the Friday dinner rush. Thankfully with efficiency. The rice was not 6 hours old like so many Asian restaurant dinners. The spinach paneer tasted unique compared to other Indian restaurants, though not necessarily better. The spinach itself did not spark joy. It had a certain crunchiness, though that's not the right word, and I'm a saag curry food snob so I'll move on. The fish curry uses mahimahi. Can't blame the average restaurant for the world's declining budget fish quality. This place was no exception, on this day at least. The fish was the weak link; the sauce was reasonably nice if not a bit bland. The channa (garbanzo beans) tasted fresher than other dishes and the sauce was so good that we almost got a second order just for that.

Sitting here on Amtrak train 332 at ABQ station on my way between NY and LA. Grabbed a Mata G Protein Sampler and Asian Salad. Wasn't expecting much from a grab-and-go, but this food is fire! Rich hummus redolent with smoked paprika, lemon and tahini, ultra-fresh tabouleh (is that cardamom in there?), umami-bomb tofu salad and quality spiced olives. Just WOW! Dipping some Albuquerque tortillas into this deliciousness--can hardly wait for the salad at dinnertime where I'll be somewhere in Arizona. Mata G, you saved me from another mid vegan train pasta. Someday, I'll be in ABQ for longer than 30 mins, and first thing I'll do is seek out your restaurant. You're doing it right!

Ownership changed at this restaurant and it is no longer Tibet Kitchen, it's a Chinese restaurant…read more They haven't updated the menu or signs yet. I went in yesterday and they didn't have menus to offer and the owners hardly spoke English. I was confused and showed them Tibet Kitchen photos from Google to order, but they kept saying they didn't have any of those dishes. I wanted dumplings, lentil soup and chai. They brought me some other pork dumplings with no sauce and a clear egg soup to try. It was Chinese food. I saw them bringing out random food for other customers saying things like "Just try it maybe you will like it." I saw other confused customers returning dishes to the kitchen. I felt a bit nauseous that night. Something isn't right with this place. They don't seem ready for customers yet.

The chicken wings were raw in the middle. The noodles were bland... the momos had a really weird doughy texture maybe undercooked? The one good thing was the egg rolls. They were huge but very greasy. The onion fritters are probably delicious fresh but they were cold when they arrived. Skip this and head over to Trader Joe's frozen section.
