I think this is a no frills place. Everything is quite straight forward and most of the time you're in and out in 30 minutes depending on your treatment. I purchased a laser genesis package from Groupon as well as the other reviewers. In terms of the laser genesis, I do appreciate the nurse going on a higher setting each time but I didn't really see significant results from it. I don't blame that on the actual pratictioner but maybe the service wasn't the right one for my skin concerns. I actually ended up purchasing their microneedling package with PRP so I'll update you on how it goes. I also like that they have a parking lot and you don't have to pay for parking (which is a huge PRO in LA). read more

I visited today for an Ultherapy lifting treatment and had a great experience. As I'm in my late 40s, I've started noticing more sagging, especially around my jawline, so I decided to take care of it before the signs of aging become more noticeable. Came here a few times for the Genesis Laser with Hydromask treatment. This place is minimalist with no frills unlike other spas treatment venues. Great pricing with free parking in K Town. Treatments are quick: lasers take about 15-20 minutes and hydromask is just a sheet mask. Staffs are friendly and informative and I really liked that they were not pushy for additional services! I usually go to a Korean skin clinic in Torrance but don't want to drive that far anymore. I paid $600 at a fancy derm in BH for a basic microneedling session and was extremely unimpressed by the results. Microneedling is pretty non-invasive, so I risked it and bought a Groupon for a microneedling w PRP treatment here for less than $150. It's been 10 days, and I'm thrilled with how small my pores are. My skin looks so refreshed and smooth! The prices are very good, and they aren't too pushy upselling you for more treatments. And there is free parking on the roof. It's typical old-school office vibes in terms of decor which is fine by me if the price is low. Many great Korean spas are in a dated office building, so don't be scared lol. I do like there botox service and prp micro service. The nurses are always very nice. The receptionist are ok. However they charge a rescheduling fee if you reschedule past 24hrs. Mind you I have been there about 5 times now. I woke up not feeling well, wanted to reschedule but the 24hrs had past and the receptionist said she would have to charge me a fee so I went anyway (an hour of driving). When I arrived they had me wait 15 min because they were not ready. I had to leave due to my personal schedule and unfortunately didnt have time to wait another 20 min. When I told them they should have rescheduled me since they were not ready for me, all they could say was sorry. I wont be returning because I dont agree with the fee and how they wouldnt accommodate for a repeat customer and that LA traffic is no joke lol. But if time management isnt an issue for you then I would recommend. read more

Very Disappointed - Rude Staff and Poor Service I came in for Botox without an appointment and was told by the front desk staff that they were on lunch, so I'd have to wait 30 minutes. I was a bit surprised, but she kindly said she would check if someone could take me earlier. I appreciated that she managed to get me in. However, I was then charged an extra 4% for using a credit card, which I was not informed about beforehand. When I asked why I wasn't told, the receptionist became extremely rude and started yelling at me. I honestly felt unsafe, her tone and behavior were aggressive, and I thought she might actually hit me. She then began speaking in Korean loudly in front of me, and when I asked her to please speak English so I could understand, she just told me to sign and go, and not to come back. The whole experience was unprofessional, hostile, and uncomfortable. On top of that, the place was not very clean. I will never return and do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I have been coming to Tiara Skin & Hair for two microneedling with prp sessions and I'm already noticing incredible results. I've previously had this treatment done at other places and haven't had a good experience, so I was initially afraid of getting this procedure again. However, even after the first session, I had a few of my friends ask what I've done to my skin since they notice it's glowing and clean which shocked me since I didn't even tell them I was getting the treatment done. My face didn't peel afterward, my acne scars the same and no glow after. Waste of money.. I would go elsewhere for it. Update: in response to below..I went elsewhere after 4 months and saw instant results after. My skin actually isn't that bad but I have a few deep acne scars from masking. As my skin peeled, I saw my acne scars weren't as deep. I even saw some glow as I was healing! At Tiara, my skin never peeled and I saw no difference even weeks after. They probably respond with you need 4+ sessions to make you come back to make more $. Sad. read more
