The place I used to go to for my sewing machine needs closed a couple of months ago & I needed a…read moreneedle plate that my local quilting shop couldn't order (they don't sell sewing machines). I called another dealer in town, but they didn't have the needle plate in stock & they said I could probably find it online...so that's what I did! This place had it in stock & answered a question very nicely over the phone. The price was also very competitive for a high end sewing machine part. Ordering what I needed was relatively easy since I had the part number. I just plugged it into their website. I paid via PayPal & I was able to track my order. It came about five days faster than they originally said it would. The part was exactly what I ordered and packaged securely for US Mail. I also appreciated that they had videos linked from their website for some of the cool tools I can get for my machine. Overall, I'm very happy with this experience and will probably order from them again if I need something for my sewing machine.

They are a great small town business that will treat you right.

I put in a $300 order on March 25th and didn't get an order confirmation email. However, the funds showed as pending on my credit card. I still hadn't heard anything on March 27th, so I reached out to Yellow Door Quilt Store on Facebook Messenger. Received a one word reply: Monday. Monday came and went, and I messaged Wednesday asking if they had shipped. Crickets. I messaged again at the end of Wednesday telling them if I didn't hear from them by end of day Thursday, I was filing a dispute with my credit card. Crickets. Thursday afternoon, today, I saw that they had seen my message in Messenger, and asked, No reply? They immediately responded saying they didn't have the inventory and had cancelled the transaction so no dispute was necessary. I looked at my CC and sure enough, it had been refunded the day previous. I asked why they had said they were shipping Monday, and they answered that they were going to CHECK on Monday, and apologized for not telling me Tuesday that they didn't have the inventory. It includes a good selection of fine lawn style cotton as well as healthy selection of quilting linens. A wonderful selection of long arms, and Bernina machines. on top of that they also had a good selection of Fashion fabrics for those that are still making their own haute couture. I spoke with the owner and their attention to detail and her ability to recall the fabrics that they have in the shop is amazing. I showed her a picture of something I was interested in that I had seen in Noblesville and took her a little bit, but they chased it down so I was happy to take some home. The selection and the pricing on everything was perfect. Will be back!

Dave delivered to my second floor sewing room an extremely heavy cabinet, set it up, and took away the boxes and trash. Not every dealer will do this! Not only that but they sent their wonderful tech, Aaron, to my house to check out minor issues with my new machine. They know that the machine is way too heavy for me to get down the stairs and into my car. Instead they sent their very competent tech to me. I've never had a dealer offer to do this. I am so thrilled to have this resource so close to me. Anything you need related to Bernina is in the store or can be ordered. Don't even get me started on the FABRICS! I garment sew and their assortment is amazing! I know if I need help with construction of a garment or a quilt some one here will be able to help. Check them out the next time you are in the area. You will NOT be disappointed.
