For once (actually it happens more often than I admit), I appreciated a vendor (Fonz; actual name Alfonso) telling me (us) to come try his place. This tucked away place is really pretty nice, and our service (not Fonz; he'd left) was excellent.
We walked down a nicely tiled, long, wide entryway with brightly colored hotel rooms on each side (Fonz actually showed us a couple of rooms) to a nice, good sized bar with an ocean view.
We had a reservation for dinner, so we were there for only 45 minutes. It was pretty hot (90-ish), but the atmosphere, the view, the breeze and the service really made this stop worthwhile.
We had an iced tea (the best I think I've had in PP/RP) and a Tecate Light. Our tab was $4.50. Perfect price, a nice break, an all around better than expected experience.
We'll be back. read more
