Kungfu Dragon USA is a wonderful school with absolutely phenomenal Shifus. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of them! As someone who works in education, I know firsthand how rare it is to find a school where EVERY single teacher is outstanding--yet somehow, Kungfu Dragon USA has accomplished just that! My kids have had the opportunity to learn from each of the Shifus, and I can confidently say that they are ALL top-tier educators. Every single Shifu is patient, nurturing, engaging, and genuinely invested in their students' growth and success. They have mastered the delicate balance of maintaining discipline while making learning fun and exciting. They know when to encourage, when to challenge, and how to bring out the very best in each student, all while respecting their individual abilities and personalities. I was so impressed by the lessons my kids were receiving that I found myself wanting to join in, too! What stands out to me most is that the Shifus aren't simply teaching kung fu techniques--they're instilling confidence, perseverance, self-discipline, and respect. These are invaluable life lessons that extend far beyond the classroom. I'm incredibly grateful that my children have such wonderful role models to learn from. If you're looking for a kung fu school where your children will be challenged, encouraged, and genuinely cared for, I cannot recommend Kungfu Dragon USA highly enough. ShiFu Ding Wei is a master teacher of the art and also a top tier trainer able to identify and prescribe practices to help individuals advance. Compared to other programs we have tried, Champion Wushu keeps the participants more active with a full session of training and practice, with attention to the individual participant needs. ShiFu Ding provides direct master to student instruction to all, whereas other programs have students learning from assistants or junior teachers. ShiFu Ding is welcoming of students of all experience levels and abilities. He provides the same level of time and care regardless of talent within a student. Our daughter has deep challenges with focus and attention, and ShiFu Ding is able to tailor his approach to meet these challenges with patience and understanding. He is more than a coach. He is a mentor. Additionally each of his advanced students demonstrates athleticism and capability that exceeds any other school we've seen. The students are truly amazing! Champion Wushu teaches a powerful total body art that balances top level athleticism with true martial capabilities. To the trained eye, the martial potential is ever present, but the activity develops a a lifetime of strength and accomplishment.

I'm older (46) so my body clearly isn't at optimal learning age for this kind of activity - but I go to challenge myself and do what I can at my own pace. Coach Ding is a tough teacher, but he is always concerned with proper form and safety first. What I also really like about these classes is that you can be a competing advanced student or you can be a complete beginner and Coach Ding will still give you the same amount of individual time and expert coaching to help you improve at your level. He teaches every single class himself. For adults who are interested - try it and do your best! The workout is harder than crossfit and you get to learn Chinese martial arts while you're at it. 3 years later I notice that my flexibility, strength and especially mobility are greatly improved due to learning here. You can also learn tai chi or bagua if you prefer those styles (which I would like to do eventually...) For parents - the children at Champion Wushu are very disciplined and work super hard. Coach Ding has high expectations. I notice that he teaches not only the mechanics of the movements, but how to break them down and practice them, and then how to polish them - and the kids learn so quickly this way. This isn't just a martial arts mill churning out belt tests for cash - which I've definitely observed at other schools. I've watched several kids becoming amazing competitive athletes at Champion Wushu.
