BUTTER CHICKEN
Tammy J.C. D.

I don't give negative reviews lightly. The food was just ok. We got the samosas, butter chicken, garlic naan, and jasmine rice. The samosas & garlic nan were the best part of the meal. The butter chicken was so disappointing and just lacked actual flavor. It was oddly sweet and almost like a tomato bisque, lacking Indian spices.

MASALA FRIES
Nick S.

I just spent over $5 on plain, soggy fries (Masala Fries). I'm assuming they make them differently if you dine in, but for takeout, they know you're not going to search though the bag and you won't drive 15 minutes back to get it corrected. Simple fix for me is that I'll never be back nor recommend this place to anyone. Too bad really. There aren't many other Indian restaurants around. Looks like I'll be driving a bit further.

Good, quick service. I'm glad to have tasty Indian food so close to home. The flavors could be cranked up a notch.

We've ordered several times and great food and the delivery is a nice option. Best Indian food in the area that we have had.

Very good food however a bit over priced. Recommend to launch lunch specials. Ordered lunch for 2 people = $44 is way over priced.

FOI Flavors Of India - Gongura Chicken and Cheese Garlic Butter Naan

FOI Flavors Of India

Try FOI, you'll be happy you did! The food is fabulously fresh & assuredly authentic. (Confirmed by…read moretwo people: One who spent half-a-year in India; the other whom spent over a year in southeast Asia.) We've tried a variety of menu offerings & are looking forward to continue exploring & enjoying these blissful renderings of this cuisine. If you're new to this type of food I do recommend by opting for "mild" spice level to begin with. Then turn up the heat if you find something you like. Also starting with simpler items like buttered chicken, chicken fried rice, aloo gobi masala, garlic cheese naan, lamb rogan josh, samosas, shahi chicken korma or peas pulav might be good dishes to whet your palate. Again, start with "mild" spices then turn up the heat as you find dishes you prefer. This is an enticingly elevated win-win for small business expertise in general as well as Cary-area snackers & bon vivants. Bon appetit!

We're talking about a carryout or delivery only restaurant, it is not a dine-in place and thats fine by me. You can tell just by the aromas that the place scores in authenticism. Their menu is full if veg, non-veg snacks, entrees, both classic and Indo-Chinese On our first visit, we just ordered a few chicken dum biryanis and lamb rogan josh . Good marks. Decent basmati rice, tender chicken, fragrant, though I do not think this is cuisine of the northern region. Lamb rogan josh had that vibrant red color with a south Indian flair. I am so happy that they don't tone the spice levels down. FOI is a winner in my book. I have heard that other dishes are also worth trying. I have a feeling we won't be running to Schaumburg, Naperville, or Chicago quite as much.

First time trying this type of Indian/Pakistani food. It's really spicy but can ask for medium,…read moremild or suggestions on food heat levels. As a first timer it took us a little bit to get used to the complex spicy taste and spicy smells. I tried a beef and chicken dish, and it was really nice. The pieces of meat were super tender fresh, and they were cut into nice sized pieces (not oversized). The rice was tasty and loved the (? not sure) cucumber sauce/dip to bring down the heat a bit. The Naans were amazing; I prefer the cheesy ones the best! Defiantly would recommend and come back to try other dishes. The staff and owners were friendly nice, and loved the decor and pictures of mom ;) A very unique place for Racine to taste some true authentic food! A++

We stopped in about 30 minutes before they closed (7:30pm) but we were told it was okay to dine in. Ordered some plain naan (got garlic instead but it was delicious), chicken chaat bowl and chicken tikka masala. The tamarind type glaze on the chaat bowl was good - bit of a smoky BBQ flavor. The tikka was great - plenty of sauce for naan dipping. Fun music and cute decorations. You can tell they care about their food. They do have a corking fee if you'd like to bring your own adult beverages. Might bring a bottle of wine next time. Looking forward to my next visit here.
