I was seeking a plan that was similar to the price point I was paying, but that had more modern features (like visual voicemail) because the plan I was on was rather old. The attendant was no help and nearly added a plan that was $500 a month until I noticed the change and stopped her. She then said she "felt uncomfortable changing the plan because the price keeps changing in every screen" and urged me to call AT&T customer care to update my plan instead. So no help with that front. I then asked if I could at least get a data SIM for my laptop. My laptop has a modem and the ability to connect to a network in the same vein as some iPads or tablets. She got out a SIM card and began working on her tablet to add it to the account. Many minutes passed of her doing this and it became painfully obvious that she did not know how to add a data SIM to the account. This was only further confirmed by her asking us to just use an old data sim from one of the tablets we had and were looking to remove from the account (which, shocker, she couldn't do either), after working for so long. Overall we will not be going back to this AT&t store. If we need service we will either take care of it online, with the customer care line, or by using a store in a more populated area.

He stated there was no way Verizon was issuing a new phone for my son's broken one. The phone wasn't cracked, or damaged in anyway, it just would not work. I asked if they had the number to Verizon in Bay City, he said no even though I knew this wasn't true because two years earlier I ordered my phone, and he called the Bay City Store and had my new phone shipped in. They're not there for customer satisfaction but to pad the wallets, don't go there unless you want to be ripped off as I did in August 2024 when they put two additional lines on my account without my authorization and charged me 113. for one line and 118 for another and get this they never issued phones for those two lines. When your disabled, retired and on a fixed income and they add $231 to your phone bill, then things get really personal-fast. Best things where Verizon headquarters gave me $40 to drive to Bay City to get the problem resolved by "Professionals" and to avoid dealing with this outlet, they are not a Verizon Store, they are a Verizon Affiliate. If you go and enter into any business dealings, you are doing so at your own risk.
