Have you been feeling more depressed and or anxious than you used to feel? Perhaps it feels like something just isn't working anymore, or that you feel the need for a new direction in life. Maybe a painful experience continues to darken your days. As each of us learns to find our way in the world from our earliest days on, our understanding of ourselves and the world around us is shaped by impactful people and experiences. Being a part of the soil in which we have grown, we unconsciously carry our past with us, and these feelings and beliefs that lie just out of our unawareness influence how we experience the world today. What I offer is a collaborative journey uncovering, opening space for, and cultivating awareness of how your unconscious experiences are influencing you. In this way, we cultivate healing. This process unfolds differently for each of us. It is not an easy. Given the nature of this work, it will be necessary to explore painful feelings and experiences. While this journey can be difficult, it has been shown in research to provide lasting benefits in the lives of those who go through it, including reduced feelings of distress, increased wellbeing, improved relationships, and resolution of conflicts in one’s life. As we progress, I offer the optional integration of training in mindfulness practice and meditation, which you will find is a natural progression of our work together, and which will further deepen your sense of wellbeing, inner growth, and healing.
History
Established in 2022.
I have a B.A. in religious studies from the University of MN, where I focused on religious experience, mysticism, meditation, and the occult. Following which, I earned an M.A. in counseling and psychological services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. After completing my master’s, I entered a two-year analytic program and worked as an analytic therapist for about five years. With the changes that occurred due to COVID, and some other considerations in my life, I decided that I wanted to move away from clinical work and set up a private practice as a life coach. This frees me up to offer my services to a greater range of possible clients, regardless of where they may live in the world. Working as a life coach also gives me more freedom to integrate the unique threads of my continuing education, training, and experience into a new way of helping others to find healing, growth, and a renewed inner Self, hidden behind years of unconscious influence.
Meet the Business Owner: Thulr O.
My entire life has led me to this particular placemoment in spacetime. From an early age, I spent an abnormal amount of time in reflection, questioning why I believed what I believed and what I thought I knew. This led naturally to the exploration of religion, philosophy, and psychology, both on my own and in university.
When I am not guiding others, I continue to enjoy exploring spirituality on my personal Path. I have a daily practice involving perpetual reflection, study, and sitting and walking meditation. I also enjoy cycling, hiking in the woods, camping, listening to music, watching independent films, and reading graphic novels.
