My sister is currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and went to the ER on August 3, 2026 after coughing up blood multiple times within 24 hours. During her visit, the physician became hostile after learning she had previously filed a complaint about his care. He referenced her complaint, and she reports he made a discriminatory statement toward her. She requested the physician's name so she could properly document her concerns and file a grievance, but staff refused to provide it. She also requested another physician and was told one would not be provided. She left feeling dismissed and distressed and ultimately sought care at another hospital. After reviewing her medical records, we saw they lied on why she left. They said she wanted other medication when they had not even evaluated her yet, not did she asks for any meds. This place is abhorrent!! They know what they are doing is violating patient rights and do not care. They think they are above law and compliance. From the receptionist, the physician's assistant, the surgical scheduler....all were very focused on providing me the information I needed. I did have to call the central number on several occasions and had my calls returned timely. Dr. Albrecht is easy to talk with, thoroughly explained the procedure, and allayed all of my apprehension. I have had a relatively uneventful recovery thus far and have been fully prepared for everything. The pre-planning with prescriptions, equipment, instructions, and appointments was very much appreciated and came together seamlessly. I would highly recommend Dr. Albrecht and his team. They take patient's appointments every 10 minutes and they are always loaded and behind schedule. It takes at least 45 minutes to see your doctor for your appointments because of delay. Doctor will not pay you $60 for being late. They should only take 1 patient per hour per doctor. Doctor ordered MRI for my knee I took the MRI. For the next follow up appointment, he was not aware of MRI and I had to ask him to review my MRI twice. He walked out the room to review MRI and came back in 30 minutes and says it's not too bad.

I came in wearing a splint I had been prescribed by my orthopedic doctor that was covered by my insurance . Dr. Das had a preference for his own splint, saying it would be better. He put it on me in the examination room and had me wear it to the checkout desk. At that time I was charged $81.19. Why would he put a brace on me and not tell me insurance didn't cover it and not tell me a price before he had me wear it.? I felt embarrassed and tricked. Because he told me it was going to be so much better than the orthopedist's brace and my embarrassment, I paid for it. I am on Medicare and a fixed income, This felt very wrong and predatory. After wearing it home, I kept having to adjust the brace, because it didn't stay in place. It did not keep my hand and wrist stabilized. The advantage sold to me was the open area between bars would keep the brace from rubbing over my injury. Instead, it wouldn't stay in place and the bar would ride right on top of my injury. At my follow up appointment, I told the doctor the problem with his brace and that I had been using my orthopedic brace since I had seen him last. He offered no compensation nor discussion. At the checkout desk I told his nurse of the problem and she said she would put in for a refund through the manufacturer. It could take up to 30 days. I have called Dr. Das's office every month for four months now and they tell me they are waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. I'm not going to ever see a refund. Dr Das never should have pushed his wrist brace on me without see if my insurance would pay for it. The brace I was wearing worked perfectly. Because, the brace from my orthopedist was covered I assumed this one was as well and I let him put it on me. It looked like a good design. I felt duped and preyed upon when I had to pay the $81.19, but I trusted that at least it would be more comfortable. Instead, it did not function as it should have. Again, it twisted and would not stay in place. I never needed a new brace in the first place. He was just working for the Medical manufacturer, pushing their product that was completely unnecessary. I would tell anyone who's thinking of going to him to find another doctor. This one is just out to make a buck at your expense.,This took a big chunk out of my budget in a fixed income.
