I've always know Amanda was good with kids, since she is an educator by background. However, watching her in action with my daughter was simply amazing. For her newborn pics, she was the baby whisperer, efficiently and effortlessly putting my baby in the cutest poses and comforting her when she would cry. For her one year pics, she easily engaged with my daughter, getting her to laugh and smile, which made for the sweetest pictures. On top of all this, Amanda came to our house, which made my entire family feel comfortable and at ease during each photo session. She worked with me before the shoot to make sure she understood how I envisioned the pictures to be, researched different photo vibes and settings. Because of this, she knew exactly what I was looking for and thus, made my vision come to life. After the shoot, Amanda delivered the pictures so quickly and exceeded my expectations. I loved each and every single image from both shoots and am so thankful she was able to capture such great memories for my family. And I look forward to having Amanda continue to capture our family in the future! Above all, Amanda is a great photographer because she cares. Since she has her own kids, she knows what family's are looking for in pictures and she has a mother's eye in photographs, often capturing how the mom sees her child. Her compassion for children and passion for photography make her the best photographer and I can't recommend her enough!

Since the wedding was quickly approaching, we didn't get a chance to meet Brittany until the morning of our day. She seemed very friendly over email - but what if we didn't click? Would she understand what we wanted? I was nervous. The very moment Brittany and Esther (hand-selected by Brittany to be our second photographer) walked in, my fears were immediately put to rest. They were vibrant, happy and oh so warm and friendly! They went to work straight away, and without even asking... they somehow knew every shot I wanted as if they were reading my mind. I gave Brittany and Esther the hardest task of all: Try and coral all our wedding guests (about 90 people) after our ceremony for a group photo. This would be intimidating to anyone. My young nephews were losing steam QUICKLY and our guests were itching for the refreshing cocktails located just steps away. But somehow this impossible task was completed in only 10-15 minutes - and Brittany and Esther did everything under the sun to make sure everyone (especially my nephews) were laughing and smiling the whole time. We couldn't have been happier, and towards the end of the night Brittany and Esther felt like family. I can't imagine having anyone else with us on our day - so if you want to book photographers who will make life easier and give you dreamy photos, Brittany and Esther were the absolute dream team. Thank you girls for everything...we look forward to working with you again in the future as we start out our life together!

I highly recommend Deb!…read more I live in the Chicago burbs and was looking to get professional headshots. I had a very specific look in mind, and Deb captured that look perfectly. Honestly, I was a little nervous about the whole experience, but Deb made it seamless. From scheduling online (no phone calls! a dream come true), to paying electronically, to having the opportunity to select my background and share the look I was interested in, to feeling completely comfortable during my photo shoot - it was a seamless experience with Deb. She's so friendly, warm, and accommodating that it really takes the stress out of the process. Her professional studio if in the basement of her home, which turned out just fine - I parked on the street in from of her house, rang the doorbell, went to her studio, and everything worked out well. My headshots turned out so beautifully that I made my husband get his done with Deb as well! (In my defense, his LinkedIn picture was from about a decade ago and was one of those group shots where you can tell other people were cut out of the picture - yikes!) He had no idea what he wanted and Deb helpfully guided him toward something that made sense. For someone who was not thrilled about the idea of getting headshots originally, he was quite pleased with the result and won't stop talking about how great the headshots turned out. It felt out of my comfort zone, something I had never done before. But after hearing from friends that I might regret not capturing this moment, I decided to start searching for a photographer. I came across many different artists online, but Sri's portfolio immediately stood out. His photography style is artistic, natural, and unique--nothing felt overly posed or awkward. I was already approaching my third trimester, so time was limited. Thankfully, Sri responded quickly and guided me through the entire process. He explained what to bring, what to expect, and assured me that most of the wardrobe and accessories would be available at the studio. We scheduled the shoot two weeks later with Sri and his talented makeup artist, Laura. When I arrived, I was nervous and unsure, but those feelings quickly disappeared. Both Sri and Laura made me feel completely at ease. Laura styled my hair into soft waves and gave my skin a beautiful, radiant glow, while Sri patiently walked me through the session step-by-step. Sri has an incredible eye for detail and a clear passion for his craft. He was attentive, energetic, and never rushed the process. Even when I needed time to find the right pose, he remained patient and encouraging, always focused on capturing the perfect shot. The final photos exceeded all my expectations--they are stunning and filled with emotion. I'm so grateful I stepped out of my comfort zone and trusted Sri with this experience.
