It had not been started or serviced so we had no idea when we took it to Ken what repairs it needed to bring it back to functional life. Ken was very responsive and gave us an estimate of what work would need to be done. We took to machine to his shop in Montgomery and we were assured he would get it running. True to his word, Ken replaced the spark plug, put in fresh clean fuel/oil mix, serviced the carburator, and generally gave it a clean up. He realized after he got it working that it wasn't running at optimal performance so he replaced the carburator with a new one. He was satisfied with bringing it back to peak performance level. We came to pick it. Ken started up on the first pull and roared to life. We had a practically new machine all within the promised quote which will carry us through this winter and many more. We can highly recommend Ken. He is very knowledgeable about small engine repair and reasonable in his price quote. He is someone Who takes pride in his repairs and will stand behind his work.

I tried contacting repair services getting responses of bringing it to their shop to oops, no response. I contacted JL through yelp and got a preliminary troubleshoot finally also indicated the need to get it into his shop. Again responding that impossibility I was surprised with the response "do I need to pick it up". Do I need to continue? A response, a transport, of course the repair and full checkup and some pointers to better use and maintain the snow blower. Information strangely not found in the owners manual. Overall, a very positive experience and at (what I felt) was a very reasonable cost. If you are in need of a small engine repair do give John a call.
