LabCorp Ballantyne, NC Location.
I had previously been to…read moreanother LabCorp close by, and the phlebotomist was a little annoyed because my appointment was close to closing and she was having a hard time finding my veins after I warned her about it. She stuck me twice and it was very aggressive and made my arm sore.
I went to the Ballantyne location a couple of days later and Bella was my phlebotomist. I warned her that my arm was sore from the other pricks from the days before, and she was very understanding. She was great, but because my veins suck, she called in Ca-Shauna who was able to assist and find some veins. Both ladies were VERY patient with me and walked through what my issue was, which was my being dehydrated and my veins being a little hard to find. Because my veins are a little more difficult, Ca-Shauna started having a hard time finding veins after one of my veins started to clot. She called in Taylor who was another pleasant person to assist. She and Taylor worked together to be able to find the veins in my left arm, which was the arm that I asked them to try last because of the soreness. Luckily, they were able to find a vein, but like the other veins, that one failed. Lol. Taylor and Ca-Shauna worked together to find a vein in my left wrist, which was uncomfortable, but with the conversation of them making me feel comfortable, Bella holding my other hand from trembling, was VERY helpful. When the ladies saw that I was tense or nervous, they offered me water, time to calm down, and if I was okay. It was nice to be around these women who were kind and pleasant during a time that I usually hate going through.
I'll definitely be using this location going forward for blood work.
Thank you again, Ca-Shauna, Taylor, and Bella for the great service!
