I love me a deep tissue massage because I work out and I walked out feeling like a new person. Keep in mind that the rooms are not attached to the ceiling meaning that there's like a 12 inch gap between the ceiling and room so you will be able to hear other people talking. It doesn't bother me but it might bother others. They proceeded to wash and dry our feet after the arm massage. The foot and leg massage was beyond heavenly. Two of us dozed off. It felt like every cell in my body was soothed. They rubbed our feet and legs with their hands and then with hot stones before finishing by wiping and drying us. I have two bad hips. When my massage therapist manipulated my legs, I almost yelped in extreme pain. I jumped and bit back tears a few times. Before the service began, I requested to see a copy of the massage therapist's license. The individual refused, stating he was "just an employee" and could not provide it. I informed him that, under Virginia law (18VAC115-20-50), massage therapy licenses must be displayed or made available upon request. Instead of complying, he handed me a business card and stated that only the owner could provide the license information. He then refused to offer me any treatment.
