After 30 years in childcare, I can say with full confidence that Destiny is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She has a true gift, especially when it comes to working with toddlers--the age group that requires the most patience, structure, and heart. I've personally seen her walk into a challenging classroom and transform it into a loving, structured, and thriving learning environment in a short amount of time. It's nothing short of amazing. What makes this even more upsetting is that I genuinely believe the person who left that review has never even had a child in her class, or doesn't truly know her at all. In all the years she's worked with us, I have never had a parent complain about her. In fact, I've had parents request to spend time in her classroom because of the incredible work she does. To publicly criticize someone by name, without truth or firsthand experience, is not only unfair--it's irresponsible. Anyone who truly knows Destiny knows what an incredible teacher, person, and mom she is. I stand behind her 100%. If you've experienced her kindness, dedication, and the love she pours into those children, I encourage you to show her some support and share your positive experiences. She deserves that and more.

For years, both of my children were cared for by both Destiny and Perla, and they will always be considered family to us given the love and care we received by them. They were both incredibly loving, attentive, patient, and deeply invested in the children they cared for. Destiny cared for my babies during some of their earliest years, and I trusted her fully every single day. She consistently treated them and all other children in her care with warmth and genuine care, and Perla was and is equally phenomenal. What a privilege those years were for me being able to hand my most precious gifts in this life to such trusted hands. Young children come home messy, with playground dirt, occasional scratches, and evidence of a full day of learning and play; that alone has never been an indicator of neglect in my experience. In fact, I love dirt, grass, and paint stains at the end of a long day of fun, isn't that exactly what we invest in a childcare facility for?! While I can't speak to someone else's experience, I can say our family has had years of firsthand experience with both of these women and we are incredibly grateful for the role they played in our children's lives. They deserve that perspective against such an outlandish claim and respect for the immense challenges that come with this job to be shared too.

I've had one kiddo on the campus from age 4 until now (age 10), and my littlest one started this last spring (age 4). HCMS has a very strong familial environment that I honestly don't think I could find elsewhere. I know that they are happy and safe and learning in an environment that teaches more than just standard curriculum, but also an entire method of learning that never ceases to astound me. There are so many positive attributes I could list, but it's even easier to just go take a tour of the campus. Plus there is no description of the atmosphere that I could ever come up with to do the school justice. But If I had to pick just one thing about HCMS to relate to other parents who are looking for the right fit for their kids, it is that you are always welcome on campus. Seriously, like always. That was a big deal for an overbearing mother who wasn't ready to let go :) Instead of crying in the parking lot I was welcomed to cry on campus, in the office, in the classroom, heck I've shed a few tears in their goat habitat. You are welcome to observe the classes (all levels), and not only are you allowed to hang out but it's encouraged. Okay crap just one more thing that I want to mention is that the Montessori Method is really into having the students help each other, it's structured so that the older ones even give lessons to the younger ones. It's my impression that most of the parents of the school did not receive Montessori education themselves, but you would never know it. There is a great sense of comradery between the parents with each other as well as with the the eclectic group of teachers and staff. Many of the teachers and staff have students at the school as well. Shouldn't that be a pretty good indicator of a great place to drop your kids off every day? Now to business.....do I get a free appetizer if I 'check-in?'

The teachers are all amazing. Each classroom has a certified Montessori teacher to guide the children to find their love of learning and direct them through the curriculum at their own paces. The classrooms encourage collaboration between the students of different levels and the respect the teachers have for the children shows them how to treat each other. I am constantly impressed by all the students here.

Over the years, there have been plenty of developmental obstacles and I have been so appreciative with how loving and understanding staff and directors have been and have worked with my family and I to overcome these times. All of the advice, tips and tricks for potty training, eating habits and sleeping have been so helpful. Some of these teachers have been here for over 10 years and I have found so much security in each of their different teaching styles. This daycare really focuses on teaching/learning through play, and enhancing their development in activities of my children's personal interests. My 4 year old could write her entire name by the time she hit Kindergarden. They came highly recommended and I have always seen why! Thank you ladies so much for loving my babies!!!!

I always felt rushed to go pick him up, because I didn't always feel comfortable with having him stay longer than needed, I ALWAYS had to hear every little thing he did wrong everyday. Some examples of his behaviors were going into an empty room, not being on line, small things in my opinion. I was extremely disappointed with how Julie Ford handled my situation. After the pandemic and school was staring back up, I had my heart set on him going back here and she rejected him coming back. I called and asked if my spot was still saved, because I payed my money and was never late! She was extremely hesitant on accepting him back! Shame on you! I am a single mom and have zero family here or help! This place was my only place! I just want people to know that if you have a neurotypical child, you are welcomed here! If you're child has any type of disabilities they're not welcomed!!
