So, as a…read morefrequent customer who rents cars for business and leisure, from a 1-day to 2 to 3-week periods, I can say with confidence that the team at this location is the best in class! I know most folks at Enterprise provide great service/experience compared to other car rental companies, but Romeo, Wajeeh and the team on Laird Dr take it to a whole different level. I used to rent from another nearby Enterprise location, and when they were transferred to this location, I switched to renting from their new location. They both strike the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Excellent prices, efficient pick-ups and drop-offs, great collection of mostly new cars, free premium upgrades and early pick-ups whenever possible, and excellent handling of any issues with car and/ore before or after the rental, as well as safe keeping anything we forget in the car after drop-off (phone, sunglasses, etc.) All in all, exceptional experiences and an amazing team behind all of it. I pretty much exclusively rent from them for any trip from Toronto, and they are my first recommendation whenever anyone asks me for the best place to rent a car in the city.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alec on his second day of work. Alec was very pleasant to work with and was efficient at getting me on my way. I was also very pleased at how clean the car (a Camry with 33,000 km) and was told that Abdi was responsible for that state of affairs. I returned the car today, January 26th, and Alec remembered me! I arrived at Dollar/Thrifty and returned the car several hours early. I gave the keys to a staff member who checked over the vehicle and gave me the OK. Two days later, I got a call from a frantic manager asking if I even returned the car. Of course I had done so. Then he accused me of not returning the keys. When I said I didn't keep the keys, he interrogated me as to where I put them. Flustered and annoyed he said he would figure it out and call me back. There wasn't much to figure out, as I had dropped the car off as anyone would. Of course, he never called back to offer an explanation or to apologize. I found this terribly unprofessional. Get your shit together and don't involve me in your unorganized mess. Also, I reserved a Toyota Yaris or similar as I was doing highway driving and didn't want to guzzle a lot of fuel. They put me in a Jeep Compass. Way bigger than I needed.

To their credit they managed to find another vehicle an hour later (again) via a totally different car rental place at the U-haul down the street. They then gave me a KIA Sorento instead (nice car, but DEFINITELY NOT the same class of car as I booked), and then the clerk asked me whether I'd like full cover insurance or partial.. I asked for the difference and he said "$42 for the partial and $52 for the full coverage"... I chose full... HOWEVER, it was NEVER mentioned that this rate was PER DAY!!! (PS: They have my international license and hence KNOW I am not from there even if they hadn't noticed from all the questions that I wouldn't know what the "norm" would be) I ended up paying an additional $440 ABOVE what I had already paid on the phone which was supposed to be the total charge, as per the agent on the phone! THAT IS ALMOST DOUBLE THE RENTAL OF THE DAMN CAR!!! BUDGET are a BUNCH OF THIEVES!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

Last time I was at this Enterprise, I arrived about 10 minutes before closing time and I asked if they would have a cargo van. Firstly, I was surprised to see that they were fully stocked with all sorts of cars including not one, but TWO cargo vans. The gentleman, whose name escapes me, helped me and a bunch of other customers way beyond closing hours and even offered me a discount for the van, as I was only renting the van for half a day. There's something really special about any place that takes care of their customers they way the guys at this enterprise location do. Bottom line, when you're looking for a cargo van, forget about places like uhaul, instead come to this place... sure you will pay a bit extra, but it is worth every penny my friends!
