They're more like a butcher inside a grocery store. Much cheaper meats than the big chains and better quality. I'm a local. :)

What Thriftway, in Lyons, does have is a meat selection second to none...poultry, pork, beef, smoked, fresh, frozen, diced, sliced and pickled! And of course the isles are packed with the usual fare one would expect in most Southern Country markets. And the smell inside the door takes me back to the local Country markets I would visit back when I was child with my Grandma in Pennsylvania.
