This place stinks, literally. From walking through the door where we weren't acknowledged by 2 staffers, even though the place was almost empty of paying customers. Just a lot of broken junk. Sketchy people walking the aisles - too much to deal with. We will not be back. I don't think the 5 star reviews from 3 years ago are legit. It's taken a long time to get this low rent and gross. I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. There's parking in front of the building. There's a rack with sale items in front and a free bin. The place has some stuff unfortunately I did not find anything. I think it's a hit or miss and also depends what you're looking for. Unfortunately I didn't have any luck. read more

I likey this place and it can have some stellar deals on top of deals. The strongest section here is the clothes area. I am pretty sure I find a new outfit here every time I shop here. I also want to point out that the clothes section includes some pimp vintage options. There is often a separate rack in the front with really special gems. Prices are marked up on those because this place knows they are special. Remember, these items have seen history. This is as close to time travel that you will ever get so it is worth every penny. The shoe section is quite large but I have yet to find some shoes to add to my collection. I have monster feet so I think that is my excuse. Housewares you have to dig through a bit and are a bit mix-organized, so walk slow, eye those shelves and you will find something you can't live without, if not this time, next time. Parking has never been an issue for me here. I am also a sucker for the turquoise capper on the building. Eye catching! Who doesn't want to check out the interior of a building that is the color of Tiffany's boxes? I sure do! read more

Popped in here to check things out as we like to go thrift shopping at places we vacation/visit just to see if we can find any rare treasures. There's none here, let's just cut to the chase. Items are priced fairly to unreasonably high for quality and style, etc. The place is big and your chance of finding a specific item is higher here than other smaller places in town, but I imagine you'll also pay more. The books and DVDs section was sad, according to hubs who love to collect those. I browsed kids' clothing area and was not impressed. Shoes areas also disappointed in selection, pricing, and quality. Overall, this place wasn't anything worth visiting and since we're not coming back, I can say with certainty, you're not missing out if you haven't visited and you might do much better at the Animal Rescue thrift store nearby. read more

From the outside, this place looks sort of interesting. I decided to check in and see what they hide, even though there are quite a few thtift stores in the area. It was sort of as expected, with not a whole lot to offer and obvious 2nd hand stuff. Most of it is nearly sorted yet sort of underwhelming. Items seem kind of ratty and the prices seem average for thrift stores but generally the quality of the items aren't as good as other stores in the area. Don't get me wrong, there are a few nicer items but alot of seems just like left over garage sale items. :/ They have quite the selection of clothes, again it is hit or miss on the quality. Limited selection of plus sized but large amount of kids and mens clothing which sometimes seems to be lacking. They have loads of shoes, a good selection of accessories and household items. A few plusses for the store is that they offer a free bin out which often has items that would be needed by the community such a kids clothes, blankets, etc. I've even seen kids bikes and kitchen items that are up for grabs when needed. The staff is generally friendly but sometimes hard to find. The store is clean and inviting. In the end the pluses and minuses sort 9f cancel each other out. It's an ok thrift store, but there are better ones nearby. read more

Thriftology is a unique thrift store where you be the judge on where the money goes. 100% of proceeds go to charity and you/I/we, vote on where the money should go for the month: 1 local, 1 national, and 1 international. They even offer classes to help you do more with your "junk/another man's treasure". The parking lot is decent sized. The isles are clean, the place is well organized, and the staff is friendly. There isn't a whole lot here... with that being said, that they do have is good quality and not too "junky" as other thrift stores are. I just don't think thrift store shopping is for me, but maybe some locations are different? This felt kind of dirty, and very used and abused items. This is a generously-sized thrift store on the Boise Bench near Emerald and Orchard, right across from McDonald's. They just opened a couple of weeks ago, so they're still building their stock. Their items were clean and neatly organized. The store is poised to benefit local non-profits. Each month, customers vote on their choice of three area non-profits to receive a percentage of that month's earnings. On the ballot, there is also a place to nominate a local non-profit for the following month. Dad and I happened to visit on a Wednesday, during which they have a 25% discount for seniors. This week, their Facebook page mentioned a 25% discount for veterans on Tuesdays as well. The lady we spoke to at the store was friendly and fun. We look forward to going back. read more

Awesome thrift store! Very good prices, big selection, and a sweetheart of a manager. He always remembers me and helps me find Hello Kitty stuff. They also have a freebie bin outside, which is always exciting to look through. My only complaints are shoplifting policies and inventory rotation. The employees can be really aggressive if they suspect you are stealing. I had a cashier follow me to my car once here because she thought I lifted a skirt. So awkward. Additionally, I often see the same things there several visits in a row. But to be fair, I do usually go every week! read more

I have been to this thrift store many times and always find something that I'm looking for!! I love this store, especially more now because I know it. The prices are fair for what the items are, the more rare and up-kept vintage items are priced accordingly. They don't price trendy items or things they know they could price higher too high at all, which is something I can't say about other thrift stores I go to. They also have really great deals on certain days, which they tell me without even having to ask which I appreciate! This store is well organized, and items are throughly looked through before being put out. I will say this thrift store is smaller than others in the area, though they make up for it by their organization-they are able to fit a lot in the small space. I would say to come here if you are looking for shoes, clothing, children's items, sports gear, cookwear, or specific furniture items. They also always have nice vintage items in the front glass bins at the checkout section. The staff is very friendly, and parking is easy. This is one of three thrift stores right in the same area, so come to this one during your day of thrifting! Make to go also check out the other two, not even a block away from this one. Also, my favorite thing about this store is that they have bins of free items next to the front entrance!! This includes cleaner, necessary items such as socks, pillows, and stuffed animals. I have not needed to look through it myself, though I always take a glance as I walk in, and it always seems popular each time I make a visit. I can't imagine how much this helps out people not just during the day while I'm there, but also at night in the cold temperatures. read more

We went to 4 thrift shops in one day. This was the best. The clothes were very thoughtfully picked. The owner obviously weeds out the junky clothes and only puts fashionable clothes in the racks. There was a nice big dressing room. Prices were great. My daughter got a brand new name brand jacket for $3. The people who work there were very helpful. read more
