He was here approximately 5 hours and asked my wife to help him with the GFCI receptacle job. When he finished he asked for a broom to clean up and then departed. He texted saying he had additional parts to pick up and he would return the next day. When I arrived home, my garage door opener wasn't working. I went inside to find out why and found my panel box door was left open. I looked around and located the issue which had cause a loss of power to both by garage door openers. I then went inside and found the bathroom and hallway where Mr. Pittman entered and left my home was very dirty. The bathroom was also dirty and not left the way Mr. Pittman had found it. I called Mr. Pittman the explain that I was not happy with the way things were left and he immediately cut me off and said he would not be back to finish the work. He later texted me and said he was not a "house cleaner" and that I was "stupid." I would not recommend Pittman Electric under any circumstances. Mr. Pittman has no idea how to treat customers and feels cleaning up is not his responsibility, but that of his customers. Very unprofessional and rude. Despite leaving the job site dirty and projects unfinished, Mr. Pittman is requesting I pay him the balance and threatening to put a lien on my house if I don't. STAY AWAY FROM PITTMAN ELECTRIC, you'll be glad you did.

I initially used the project tool here in Yelp, and my project was sent out to 3 electricians, non of who were DEL. Of the 3 other companies, 1 never responded, one was booked up for 2 months, and didn't even try to get my business, and the other was a 2 week wait for a quote. I hit Doug up, left a message, he called back that night, came out for a quote 2 days later, and boom, I knew he was the guy I wanted to do business with. Even though he was booked up he got me into his schedule and the job was completed before I was supposed to get the quote from another company. I had him run in a new 20 Amp circuit in my garage workshop. I doubt that company would've beat the price, as it was a really good one, and the work was quality.
