A real catastrophe. This alterations person that owns this tiny office space is by and large impossible to touch base with. She does not return messages and NEVER answers the office phone. If you own your business, you better answer your own phone! Catching her is hard, she comes in when and if she wants to and gets to her work when and if she feels the need to get it done. Maybe she is too busy watching Days Of Our Lives or The Price Is Right.
I also think she is rude and makes no effort to even put on a smile when I have seen her in the office. She altered a dress for me and did minor repair to it and it took her a long time to get it done. It's a good thing I didn't need the dress the next day! The work was too long in getting done and she was was very abrasive when I questioned her about the work. What she charged for it was alright, but I should have gotten my grandmother who sews to do this for me. Next time, I will do that. I learned my lesson.
Also, I caught the owner writing down license plate numbers of cars going into the cell phone store next door for some odd reason. I watched her ignore me and walk outside to watch Boost Mobile customers leaving and doing what seemed to me to be writing down descriptions and information. I wonder why. No one I want to do work for me would do that and I don't recommend this tailor to anyone. I should have gone to Grandma because she knows what she is doing. Grandma knows to answer the phone! read more
The owner of this shop does good work, but from my experience, it's difficult to catch her. Three times I've stopped by to either pick up a garment or drop something off and was greeted with a note on the door, with a phone number that no one answered. My call was not returned either. Like I say, she does a nice job, but she's super busy and the clothes take quite a while. I had to find another alterations shop, which is too bad. :( read more
