I was mistaken (minus the thick accent part). The location itself could be considered a bit "janky" but honestly, it adds to the character of the place. What I thought: The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. He even gave my friend a few tips about wearing a suit. He is a bit of a chatty person but not in a creepy way. It is about 10 bucks to hem pants wich isn't bad for next day service. My (former) tailor in Flint charged me less but his attitude alone is enough to get me to ay a couple extra dollars for better, friendlier, service. My recommendation: Of the two places I have been for tailor services, this is the best. Don't be a rude customer and you will be treated very well.

I had been working out, so I thought maybe I just needed it to fit a little better. Connie helped me with the alterations and did an amazing job! She brought back that sparkle the dress had had for me the year prior! I also had it cleaned and pressed through her and it came back perfect. My fiance also had some dress shirts taken in through Katz and those came out sparkling as well. The clerk was amazing and had such a great personality. I needed my dress back the same day. Bright it in at 10am and he had it back to me by 12:30! Then cracked a joke because I was late picking it up. My grandma had been taking her items here for years and I'm glad I decided to use their services as well.
