The circus features a water spectacular where the ring is sunk and filled with water for synchronised swimming routines. There is a dance troupe Estelle's dancers which regularly perform in the shows. The shows are full of colour and variety and the clown is hilarious. The downside is that the seats are quite steep around the ring - there's not much room but it's worth it because the shows are fantastic. A great way to spend an evening in summer and the kids will love it (especially the clown!)

There is an inhouse cafe and bar which is open during the day and evenings if there is a performance. This theatre is one of 13 designed by david Fisher and build around East Anglia. I don't know if any more are still standing. This one was first opened in 1828. You will see many historic items on display recovered during restorations and the orriginal (reconstructed) pit in the atmospheris cellar. There is an unusually broad programme of arts events and reasonable prices and consessions with tickets easily booked on line. The theatre is also used as a cinema.

Town centre hall used by local amdram and other charities for fund raising. Dates back over 300…read moreyears. It is the principal entertainment venue in the town and has undergone refurbishment. Seating is by loose chairs so leg room will depend on the number of expected audience (max 220). There is a licenced bar and drinks can be ordered for the interval. It currently plays host to various productions and live music concerts and serves the local and wider community as an ideal venue for craft fairs, exhibitions, drama/exercise classes, birthday parties and wedding receptions. Waveney District Council are currently seeking to offload the expence of running the Hall due to the current financial climate. Hopefully a suitable charity will take on the running of this succesful venue.

Sadly a lot of piers are slowly falling into the sea, so its great to see Cromer pier in such good…read moreshape. Consistently busy in summer with kids crabbing off the deck and fishermen dangling bait from the end, its a great reminder of the towns glorious past. And in fact its glorious present, because it's a fine place to visit, with a lot of lovely art and craft shops, places to get icecream. And pubs. The beach is ace around the pier too, it even has a surf school where you can learn to hang 10 on a two foot swell. Whatever that means If you're around cromer in the evening and want a 70s flashback, end of the pier shows still take place every season.

It is a popular fishing spot, and 'crabbing' is a favourite activity for summer visitors. There is plenty of seating throughout and at the entrance there are toilets, a restaurant, a gift shop and ticket office.

Does what it says on the tin really…read more It's a pretty building on the slant of a hill. It has mighty pillars and is a good community space. They show projections of movies which is the next best thing to going to a city cinema. Clothes sales and plays happen there as well.

Fine, we said, may be a bit of a wait, so can we entertain you with a tour. Great we said. We ordered had the tour and sat down and the starters arrived. Fabulous. Then on to the main various choices all excellent and on to desert, all home made and outstanding. The service was exceptional, the value amazing. An unexpected but brilliant treat. 17 absolute fans!

The Food was delicious, home made and presented lovely. Reasonably priced. Considering people pay alot of money for the better surroundings of the local Castle Inn, I think that the food at the Three Cooks was just as tasty.
