The whole styling and catering to my friend while she shopped was refreshing. And then there was the dreaded register... well again I was pleasantly surprised! The prices are wallet friendly and I like the style of clothes Bre helped my friend pick out. My friend was beyond satisfied but I think would have had a better time if her girlfriends where with her. It is worth a girls shopping trip! * I am Jealous, men don't get this kind of attention, I have had custom suits made but that service doesn't compare to Windsor G'ville! Kudos Ms Bre!

It's not the easiest place in the world to enter or exit; but I've seen worse! The clothing in here is mainly factory overruns. I assumed by their name that the the clothes were probably sewn incorrectly or otherwise second quality. Not so at all! Mostly found fashions for ladies and children and it's all brand new. Unfortunately, the men's apparel was quite limited. The most outstanding thing for guys was a section dedicated to men's vest. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again.

The man behind the counter asked me what I needed today and I told him that I wanted a dress shirt that would match my gray suit! I proceeded to tell him what size I wear and he told me I was wrong! I was given three different sized shirts and let him see how they fit! I must say; the man at the store was right! He assessed my frame when I entered this place. He so very much demonstrated his mastery of men's garments! Every inch of wall space at Suit City is adorned with astonishing jackets. They looked like something Elvis Presley would wear! Sequins and colored glass jewelry and the different colors of a rainbow made these clothes stand out! I was such a happy and pleased customer that I bought three very handsome dress shirts! As I previously stated; this place is simply amazing and I recommend this place highly!

That's when I found Empire. James, the owner, was so helpful and knowledgable. He will take your measurements, find the style and fit of the suit you're looking for, and along the way, give you helpful styling tips. Pushy salesman make me feel really uncomfortable, but James is nothing of the sort. He treated me as though I was an old friend stopping in to say hello. The prices here are very reasonable and far better than any department store around. I was able to purchase two quality suits (and had them altered) all in one shop for an incredible price. Stop by Empire first before you waste your time at a department store.

I grew up in Greenville, but now live in New York. I wanted to buy my wedding dress at a place…read moreclose to my mother so that she could accompany me on all of my appointments. This bridal salon has been incredibly accommodating and I've had such wonderful experiences here so far. My first visit was to try on dresses. The sales associate was incredibly thorough with explanation of their selection, pricing and the way their store was organized. I felt a little apprehensive before my appointment because I knew there was no way I was going to fit into the "sample sizes." She did a really great job of making sure that I could envision what the dress would look like when it actually fit in the back (she made sure that the opening in the back due to the fact that I didn't fit was always covered so I wasn't exposed). They have their dresses arranged by price range, so without even going into detail with her, we were able to zero in on the right "section" for us based on our budget. I wanted a dress with sleeves on top, and at first got a little discouraged because I didn't see a lot of them...but the sales associate told me that I should look at the style of the dress and keep in mind that sleeves could be added after. I had never even thought of doing that! With her guidance, I found THE PERFECT dress! My second visit was for my first fitting. I had quite a lot of people accompany me for my fitting and we never felt crowded, rushed or like we were sharing the store with anyone else. My grandmother was there in a wheelchair with an aid, my aunt, my mother and my future mother-in-law. For those who are concerned about sharing the spotlight with another bride, consider making an appointment during a weekday. Just like anywhere else, a store like this will have more appointments on the weekend, so if you're looking for completely individual attention, you have to meet people half way sometimes! The fitting was such a wonderful experience. Their alterations department knows exactly what to do to the dress to make it look perfect. They started a pattern for the sleeves on my dress during the consultation and accommodated any requests I had as far as the shape of the dress on top with useful suggestions. They are truly experts in their field! My future mother-in-law traveled here with me from New York. She was incredibly complimentary of the staff at this store. She ended up purchasing a dress for our wedding here as well! They have an awesome selection of dresses for the rest of the bridal party as well as mothers, etc. I love the dress because it's more modern, and not matronly at all. I have made an appointment for my second dress fitting and I'm confident that my dress will truly turn out to be perfect for me. I couldn't ask for a more personalized, friendly and comfortable experience for such an important occasion. Unfortunately in the world of brides, positive reviews are few and far between and weddings sometimes bring out the worst in people. Brides can be incredibly picky and petty in this moment they've been waiting for their entire lives. I would urge anyone reading reviews of vendors for their wedding to really look at all the reviews for a place and not just the negative ones. These experiences can be incredibly emotionally charged and girls build them up in their heads so much that nothing is going to measure up no matter what.
