Once on the front, and once on the back. Both times too early in the round. The area to buy refreshments between 9 and 10 didn't have anyone in it to sell refreshments. There were hamburgers being made, but apparently those weren't for golfers. The round took 4.5 hours to complete. Where were the rangers that I've heard so many people complaining about? Your course, like so many others in the Phoenix area is expecting golfers to continue to pay high prices for the privilege of playing something that is worth at most, half the price. I won't be one of them.

The front nine holes were wide fairways and I really appreciate that especially for a beginner golfer like me. The back nine holes were much harder, but it had very creative tee box positions. The pace of play was very nice. We were not rushed at all. The carts had GPS to tell you how far you are from the holes. I would recommend coming to this course!

We met another gentleman that said it was his first time and he had to ask where to go too. The course was very pretty with Mountain View's. There were water filling stations, which was great on a hot day. The dining area was very nice and overlooked the golf course. After completing our first nine holes we were asked if everything was going well and when leaving they cleaned our clubs off. Lone Tree had quite a few challenging holes, which made it a good game!!

I played a round recently for my son's birthday, and the fairways were drier than any active course I have ever seen--it looked closer to a facility that had been closed down. While we didn't ask for a refund at the time because we wanted to honor the birthday celebration, a member of your cart staff informed us that a well is broken and may not be fixed for another 2-3 months. If the course is unable to maintain standard playing conditions due to infrastructure failure, that should be disclosed at the time of booking. Charging full rates for "worst-ever" conditions is not a sustainable way to treat your regulars. I'd like to know what the plan is for service recovery for those of us who paid for a premium experience and received a "broken" one.
