Jeremy Horton, the proprietor, was sent to my house by another contractor to undertake widening of…read moremy driveway. Our home has a small built-on garage with a car port adjacent. The car port had a slanted surface, and its offset from the driveway made it tricky to enter. I wished to be able to drive my Forester straight in and straight out. Jeremy and I considered several alternatives and came up with a plan. He dug out the slanted area to level the surface and cut back a small hillside that rose toward my neighbor. To hold the soil in place, he created a pressure-treated wood bulkhead against the hillside to maintain this modification in place. He then planted decorative grasses on the dirt slope to hold the soil together. On the new surface he packed gravel stones in place of concrete, to save on cost. Throughout he was most cheerful and accommodating, explaining everything he did to insure my understanding. I was pleased enough that I later asked him to build a pergola that my wife and I wished to have behind our house, attached to the rear of the garage, to provide a shady place to sit outdoors. Jeremy came up with a plan at a reasonable price, deposited the materials needed within a very few days, and then showed up with a most competent crew to construct this shelter. It was perfect, exactly what we wanted. It is sturdy, attached to the rear of the garage and resting on solid timbers. It has a metal roof and an effective draining system. It can easily withstand a gale force wind. We have furnished the space and are very pleased. Wii Care+ is a most reliable, responsive, and efficient contractor, capable of taking on numerous projects. He is generous with occasional extras and does not rest until his client is fully satisfied. Whatever you'd like to build, ask him to bid on it and he will perform to your complete satisfaction.

Don t know about him as a builder, but Wayne Robinson is TERRIBLE as a landlord! He does not care…read moreabout his tenants nor apparently about his reputation. My GF rented a house from Robinson beginning October, 2011 for $1075/month. There were repeated problems almost immediately, the worst of which was plumbing backing up and raw sewage flooding the floor TWICE. After constantly hounding him, he eventually sent incompetent plumbers who let the sewage flood the basement floor through the bathtub drain, ruining boxes of belongings in the basement. When informed of this, Robinson's response was "I didn't do that. The plumbers did. Don't blame me. Blame them." The plumbers and city said the problem was tree roots in the pipes. Robinson had the nerve to suggest it was my GF's fault for flushing things down the toilet! Also, the AC unit s drain downstairs backed up and flooded the basement floor TWICE ruining boxes of clothes and other property. Took days to get someone out to fix it and NO OFFER FROM ROBINSON TO REIMBURSE FOR LOSS. Said it was not his responsibility and she should have had renter s insurance. He promised to fix a backyard fence and plant grass. NEVER got around to it in more than a year. He's an absentee landlord and if you rent from him, you might as well assume any problems or repairs are up to YOU. For nearly $1100 a month, you should get much better service and a landlord who is RESPONSIBLE for his properties.

Jeff Vann was a wonderful contractor. This review is long overdue. I hired Jeff because I needed to…read moreremodel a home that was over a hundred years old and needed to be sure someone had the same vision I did. I wanted to repurpose parts of the home, move windows and doors, and preserve the original details of my home. Most of the other contractors I spoke to told me things that I wanted could not be done but after speaking with Jeff he told me anything can be done! And he made everything happen. My original design for my master bedroom and bathroom which required two front rooms to be reconstructed looks exactly as the finished product. Jeff had to move windows floorboards walls and make repairs as he went. Remember this house was over a hundred years old. I had original hard pine flooring which he preserved. All of his contractors were top-notch. Even baseboards that were original to this home had to have special knives cut to reproduce the original design and Jeff made it happen! I have had other work done in other homes prior to this that were not even difficult projects that did not go as well as this one. Jeff made everything easy with his communication and his professional workers and was very attentive to details. When my brother-in-law who helped me to draw up the original design came to the home to look at the finished work he kept staring at it shaking his head! When I asked him why he was so surprised at the finished room he said "I know I helped you draw up the design but I didn't actually think they would be able to do it!"
