This place is very close knit, not only with employees but with the "neighbors" as well! I love all of the familiar faces that stop by to shop. I've even gotten close with some of my regular clients. They trust me to take care of their baby and there's no better feeling. This place is a great pet store in general because it's easy to navigate. Always well organized, and they price match! We have a low cost vaccination clinic that comes in monthly. And I think it's a great asset for the community. There's also a self service dog wash that is nice for those quick baths or muddy puppies. Plus, we clean the mess! It's very affordable with $10 a wash! Or you can pre pay washes on a punch card and it's cheaper! Management here is phenomenal, I've worked in some pretty terrible situations with poor management in the past. They are not only kind and understanding, but they listen. They are always willing to go above and beyond for our "neighbors" too. And that warms my heart. Making a customers day is the honestly the best part of my job. Whether it's when they pick up their dog from grooming and they are overjoyed by how cute they are, or assisting one with a product, question, information, and they are so grateful for the knowledge we provided. I, along with fellow coworkers are always reading and learning more about animals. Especially dogs! We love to help out everyone with nutritional advice, grooming, training, even guide them in the right direction to veterinary care, whether it's a local clinic we all use and trust or our low-cost that comes in. This place really has it all. For all price points, level of knowledge and more! I've never been in a more understanding, nonjudgmental, caring work place. I've now been patronising Wigglebutts for a few years in order to save my dog's neck (we suspected…read morethat he has a collapsed trachea--now confirmed by xray) but decided after the latest xray that it was not a good idea to even have him groomed, as I don't know if it will contribute to his very small airway being cut off. Instead of expressing even the least bit of comfort, or maybe ideas of how he can be groomed without touching his neck area, the owner (who has been grooming him every 6-8 weeks for the last couple years and her company groomed him during covid for two years), texted back nothing when I explained he's not doing well, and X-rays have confirmed that his breathing passage is the size of a straw, so now he's going on lifetime meds to try to keep the passageway from collapsing completely. All she did was text back, a day later, "confirmed, cancelled" WOW. I mean, I've been tipping her and paying her $130 for grooming Sammy a total of 4-5 years, tipping her $20-30 each time, and that's the response. I guess every dog and owner is no one to her. Tells me something about the caring inside her soul. I suppose she probably does not want the liability to trim him, but at least some words of comfort would have been business like and appropriate.

The salon is clean, quiet, is easily accessible (on Butterfield, west of Kirk/Farnsworth), plenty of off street parking. The groom was $55,that is the most I have ever paid (her groom 2 months earlier was $45). But as long as they do a great job and my dog is safe and happy, I can live with that. One tip:don't use Google maps to get there. It took me out of the way through a residential area and wasted time. They are in a strip mall at the intersection of Mitchell and Butterfield (southwest corner) next to a pizza place. Heading west on Butterfield from Kirk/Farnsworth it will be on your left.

I have been taking my dog Bubba here since he was very young. The staff is amazing and pricing on…read moreeverything is reasonable. My dog unfortunately passed away at 11 years old. He had Lyme disease antibodies in his bloodstream, so started antibiotics as a standard treatment. Unfortunately, he threw up the antibiotics and didn't eat well another day until his passing. I brought him in numerous times for different tests and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. He ended up developing diabetes that he didn't have from the previous bloodwork one week earlier. I feel like the doctors did everything they could to try and help him but unfortunately he just got too sick. We did give him the antibiotic shot since he threw up the antibiotics, but unfortunately that didn't help. I feel like the doctors did a good job explaining everything and all of my options and I feel like the pricing was reasonable and they certainly were not trying to take advantage of my situation. He lived his last few days with me and I was able to take him on a bike ride on his last day by pulling him in a dog trailer. He had his head up and loved it. He got so sick he couldn't walk anymore so it was late at night and I had to take him to the emergency room at the VCA to have him put to sleep. It has been a very difficult time without him. I loved him very much. When I'm ready, I will get another dog and I'm sure I will be bringing the new dog here for treatment if I'm still living in the area. Thank you for all your hard work.

However, during my most recent visit, I was approached by one of the groomers in a rather unfriendly manner regarding my dog barking. I understand that barking can be disruptive, but given that this is a grooming environment, I was surprised by the tone of the interaction.
