Their handling left me in a substantially worse position than before I hired them. This is not simply about receiving an unfavorable IRS decision. My concerns are about specific service failures. Important IRS follow ups were missed, critical work was not completed in time, and major developments were not communicated to me when they should have been. An IRS Appeals officer specifically documented that Nashville's representative did not return her follow up call to gather more info before making the final decision. Communication was extremely poor. I repeatedly had to ask for updates, deadlines, and information that should have been proactively communicated. During a critical period, I was not warned about developments that put my business at serious risk, and effective protective action was not taken before my income-producing account was levied and frozen. The consequences were significant. My business account was unusable for weeks, I suffered substantial financial harm, and I had to hire emergency replacement representation. I hired Nashville specifically because I needed experienced professionals who understood IRS collection procedures, would act on time, and would protect me from exactly this type of situation. What concerns me just as much is the lack of accountability afterward. Nashville has focused on how much work it says it performed rather than addressing whether the critical work was completed, filed, communicated, and followed through on when it mattered. They also did not honor the written refund assurance provided to me before I signed. UPDATE AFTER THE OWNER'S RESPONSE: The response again portrays my complaint as dissatisfaction with the IRS outcome. That is not my complaint.
