Three Bridges Park is a 24-acre urban park in Milwaukee. It has two miles of biking and walking trails. My husband and I hopped onto the trail for a bit of walk after visiting the Domes yesterday (you can access the trail right behind the Domes), and we enjoyed our time on the trail. Tall wildflowers, bridges, and views of Milwaukee. Not a bad way to spend some time. The trail was wide enough that bikes (and there were lots of bikes) weren't an issue as we walked the trail. Worth a visit if you're looking for a spot to walk or bike in this area of Milwaukee!

This is a great addition the Menomonee Valley! I've been taking the Hank Aaron Trail lately and stopped by this new park that opened up in the end of July. They have two miles of biking and walking trails, asccess to the river for fishing and canoeing, various bike/pedestrian bridges, wildlife signs, and much more. Most of the paths are paved for biking with some uphill climbs and then some covered bridges to go through as well. We went right after it opened so the wild grass was still being planted and you couldn't go off of the trail yet. There are tons of signs that tell you what is planted, what you're looking at (in regards to looking around the Menomee Valley buildings), and what is located nearby. Definitely worth making a detour on the bike through this park. Also, a great place to take a kid walking around. It has a great feel that really ups the MV area - makes you feel like you got lost in the wilderness.

It's been quite some time since we've visited Lake Park, but I absolutely love it here! We were actually kicking ourselves that we don't come here more often to enjoy nature, as it really is beautiful in all seasons. There is no shortage of trails, short or long, that wind through the park and dip down into the ravines. This includes stairs and some rockier walk ways that lead out to the lakefront. If you prefer to stay on the flat road, you can enjoy the well-paved paths by foot or by bike. We had our stroller along and were able to push it throughout. You'll pass by a golf course, the fancy Lake Park Bistro restaurant, lawn bowling greens, statues, and even the infamous Milwaukee light house. Looking forward to the summertime in hopes that the weekly concert series returns to this park, in addition to the traveling beer garden. My son should be walking soon enough, so we'll no doubt return to let him run free and get some fresh air, while we enjoy views of the lake!

I like getting there early in the morning to see the sun rise over the lake. There's so much history to this location. I loved learning more from the Wisconsin Historical Society about how the park was designed and constructed. It's a really cool spot for everyone: runners, walkers, people with dogs or kids, everyone! Enjoy!
