Inside was dark but seems to be a good spot for groups who just want to have a casual and chill time. They upgraded me to a Grey Goose without telling me and we forgot to check the bill (since we trusted the establishment thanks to their good service so far), where it cost $30. We realised in the car, halfway home already. Not cool! The food is alright, bar food from various locales, at the price point you can expect for the location (personally I prefer both Aria and Guillaume at this price point). The lamb skewers on fatoush were pretty good. Churros too hard. Some weird experiments: the smoked egg yolk on top of the tartare was inedible (oversalted, stuck to your teeth) and completely ignored the purpose of egg yolk in tartare, but the raw meat was alright. Good and fast service and obviously great view for a drink. I'm still bitter about being stealth upgraded and it means I probably won't visit again unless I have to.

The cocktail list was lackluster at best, not very inspired. The food was also somewhat less than one would expect for the price. So the good: Our waiter was beautiful, like actually model beautiful and he was charming and knew his stuff. The beet root salad was amazing. The prawns were pretty good. I enjoyed the oysters but my friends did not. The view is probably what brings people here, it's amazing although they could certainly do more with the ambiance and furniture inside. The mojito was good according to my friend. The bad: We didn't always have great service. Sometimes I went to the bar or over to find our waiter. The haloumi was uninspired as the accompaniments did not do it justice. The drinks were not great including a sub par Bloody Mary, old fashioned, Mai tai and Manhattan, in fact aside from the mojito we were not impressed. We had the basil, cherry tomato, bocchonchini pizza and I did not like it. I thought the tomato sauce was bad, my other friend felt it wasn't cooked enough and my other friend felt that the cheese was good but it wasn't special. Between 3 of us, with food and drinks it was easy to spend our $200 and also easy to see why this place was on scoopon. I hope our hot waiter finds a better place to work!

I was then told when I asked, that doesn't apply to 'specials' despite being told I could apply it to any food. The person behind the bar also tried to tell me that there was 10% off the bill when I ordered - which was wrong as anyone can take 10% off in their head without much mental agility. Anyway. So after all that and her walking off to find out if a drink was included, something she said to me, and then coming back to say no sorry - no discount and no drink. She took the order. We then got 3 roast dinners that were stone cold. We returned them to a 'oh sorry i guess' kind of attitude. We then had them brought back to us - the same food on the same plates - supposedly reheated. First of all we should have been given fresh plates and new food... but worst of all they were still cold?!?! What had been done to them? What chef in their right mind sends the same plates out again- and still cold?? This is potentially the worst dining experience experience I've had in my life in Sydney ... and it was a special occasion for us. Well done for ruining it.

This is not a soup, but you are giving a little serving dish of the bisque to pour on as much as you'd like on your bug. lol for our main entrées, my husband had Heramassa Kingfish that he said was light and very yummy. I had the duck dish as that's one of my favorite meals. I can't say that this was cooked the way I tend to like my duck, which is more pink in it. It was overcooked . T It was chewy and there wasn't enough sauce, which would've helped. Last but at least we both had desserts and they were both fantastic! He had the lemon tart, mango meringue, and I had the Caramelia raspberry sponge cake. It was delicious! You can't beat the view from this restaurant and the service was very attentive and they were very friendly. The only thing I would say is they could update it inside a bit more. Maybe new carpet and furniture but all in all it was worth it. I think we paid $72 per person, so it wasn't cheap and then you still had to buy your alcohol (2 glasses of wine cost $51 ) which is pretty expensive, oysters were extra, side dishes were extra as well. I still give it a higher rating as opposed to a lower one. Great special evening place to go.!

I've always looked in the window fairly enviously of the people drinking cocktails and wine. Finally a friend of mine and I decided to try it and we were not disappointed! Thursday night $12 signature cocktails from 5pm - 7pm is something you can't really go wrong with. It wasn't particularly crowded that night but I bet it would get busy on Fridays and Saturdays. The evening ambience was trendy and casual, after work drinks and a couple of what looked like first dates. My friend and I shared the 4 for $40 sharing plates. The crispy chicken was so tender it basically melted in your mouth, the potatoes with shaved serrano were also a great alternative to fries or wedges and the cheese of the day was fresh and pungent (like all good cheeses). The Push would be a great place to start a night out or just for quiet weekday cocktails and wine with friends.
