A nice little local museum, mostly about the history of the Thousand Islands and its people. Check it out if you're in the area!

It started in Clayton NY and went up past Alexandria Bay. There was a delightful announcer who filled us all in on what we were seeing along the way. If you visit Clayton, don't miss this boat trip. Boldt Castle is breathtaking. https://www.boldtcastle.com/visitorinfo/about This trip was worth 100 stars.

The tour included viewing several islands with a discussion of the various homes and buildings on them. The other disembarkment was at a historic lighthouse, which tourists could climb the 256 steps for a grand view of the St. Lawrence River. We had a great time, and I recommend to anyone who visits the Alexandria Bay or Clayton area to jump on board

No issues with sounds or lighting, and comfy seats that aren't bolted to the floor so you can spread out a little. Clayton Opera House offers a variety of performances at reasonable prices, and online tickets can be printed at home or picked up at will call. Parking is not bad if you get there early enough to park in the O'Brien's lot, otherwise you may get stuck with street parking. One thing I wasn't excited about: there is no obvious mask policy, no signs, no hand sanitizer, no spacing of seats, and no mention of vax status, either in the building or on the tickets/email. They probably don't need all of these things, but maybe one or two. My husband and I wore masks the whole time we were there, and we were in the minority. Other than that, we enjoyed the concert immensely.

There were so many people, they overwhelmed the air conditioning. The director's response to my complaint was curt and condescending. I have enjoyed many events in the Opera House but I won't be back in their new overcrowded seating arrangement.
