I use Mill City Clinic as my primary care clinic since 2020. I've never had a problem getting a quick appointment, getting help from the nursing staff, or other delays. No problems whatever with my visit summaries going immediately to MyChart. As they're associated with the UM doctors' network I know I'm getting great care and when referred, will also be receiving superior treatment (I've had colon surgery and a hernia operation through their referrals. I have also had a ton of issues with them coding my visits wrong, so my insurance does not cover the appointment. Example: during my annual physical exam which is covered by my insurance 100%, however, the DOCTOR asked me additional questions regarding my overall health and because of that they didn't code this visit as an annual physical exam so it was not covered. They did the same thing with my annual Mammogram. They mis coded this visit so it was not covered 100%. They are only focused on making money and not on the patient care. It's actually unethical.

Most people don't like going to the doctor but they know it's necessary and very important to do…read moreso. When I visited this clinic for my annual check up I felt like the cleanliness of the facility, the modern design, patient -doctor and medical staff treatment, and ease of maneuvering through the different clinics were phenomenal. It was a combination of going to the airport without the hassle and the customer savvy style of the Apple Store. I literally had my mind blown because I was very impressed that staff were required to wear uniforms like airline staff. I was assisted at check-in by the staff who took my picture with the Microsoft surface and then gave me a badge to wear while I waited to be seen. As I waited - which was not long at all, I noticed that they had a complimentary refreshments station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. At every turn I was impressed. Then when I went to get labs done I received a buzzer, similar to what you get at red lobster or Applebee's when you wait get notified that your table is ready. I was in and out of this place in no time. Loved the efficiency and hope they maintain this high level of service. P.s. They also have a cafe!

It is so clean, easy to navigate and the staff is AMAZING! So friendly, so patient and so helpful. They also have shuttle service to nearby apartments. Beautiful artwork displayed by prior patients. All around it is just a great place to be if you need to have something like this done!

The registration process was fairly seamless, and the doctors were kind and focused on my children's experience. When we took my youngest child, it was a little bumpy, or than when we took my oldest last night. However, in both instances, the doctors were beyond excellent. The nurses were kind and responsive as well, but the bedside manner of the doctors was what stood out this trip. One concern I do want to notice is that there seems to be a glitch in their medication ordering system, which did not permit the nurse to get the medication needed within a timely manner. Apparently, this has been going on for days and the health staff have brought this forward for internal review multiple times. I hope this gets fixed as it does. It is such a relief to finally know what is wrong, and to find a doctor that LISTENS to me, instead of immediately trying to address symptoms with a pill. She is thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and totally conscious of the patient's best interests. Better treatment than I got at Mayo, even. She actually recommended a book to me- how refreshing is that? Instead of a prescription, she directs me to a resource so that I am a better-educated patient. I actually feel kind of bad for gushing about her, because I don't think she is taking new patients... But if that changes, and you are looking for a great endo, this is the doctor to get!

I was exploring a hormonal imbalance and she helped me get on a bioidentical progesterone which was exceedingly helpful. I wasn't however expecting to be blindsided by the visit to follow. Having gotten out of a recent break-up I saw Dr. Parker to explore getting pregnant on my own--possibly more hormone treatments, thyroid tests, anything that would help my fertility as a late 30-something woman. The first words out of her mouth were 'Well... I have two children and I could not have done it without the love and support of my partner.' She proceeded to ask me the following questions: -- Was I financially secure enough to raise a kid? (39 with a very successful business) -- Why not consider adoption? (Always a consideration of mine but expensive and I want to try natural conception while I'm still young) -- Why not consider dating someone with a kid? (Already a stepmom from my previous relationship) She asked me how I planned on getting pregnant and how I planned to give birth. I told her I pondered home birth and she proceeded to tell me a home birth nightmare story. All in all it was an incredibly shaming and negative experience. Absolutely nothing positive or empowering was uttered from her mouth and being a woman doctor--who supposedly embraces an alternative lifestyle--I expected a lot more out of her. I was definitely emotional in our visit but I don't think that was justification for her to be so judgmental. I sought out a holistic doctor to have a more positive experience not to be treated like I'm incapable and out of touch with my own aspirations as a human. It's taken me some time to have the courage to write this review but I think it's important. I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience. I won't be going back to her, nor would I recommend her as a doctor.

I was recommended to travel out of state to see Yoon-He Cha, a doctor who specialized in my rare neurological condition, Mal de débarquement syndrome. She was perfectly nice and gave some advice, but none of the services rendered remotely justified the outrageous cost. I have had far more helpful interventions and care from other practitioners, so don't waste your money unless your insurance covers it. Even then, the Steady Coach and Mount Sinai have done much more good for me, so probably not worth the flight unless you're extremely desperate.

So 3 weeks after the 1600 miles he drove in 3 days ( fl to Mn), he had a MASSIVE heart attack right in the office ( 5 minutes fr HCMC ER) of our 25 year primary care doctor! WHAT luck! So in 10 minutes of the EKG test, he was in the ER!!! After 3-4 hours in surgery, one surgeon came out and said," his main artery in the rear of heart was 95% blocked and he would have survived for only 90 minutes... we put in two stints". HCMC ER is nationally rated as " the top ER Level One trauma center and number one in the entire Midwest ". Level one means they can handle anything - - gun shot wounds to head, chest, stomach the most deadly spots, falls out of buildings, MASSIVE car crashes, etc etc. My father taught biochemistry 40 years in a NYC med school and taught us how to care for all others in any situation. My husband post surgery, was hospitalized in HCMC for 4 days and entered their special Cardio Physical Therapy Program = 3X a week/full hour/for 3?months!! The hospital stay was outstanding in ALL respects. The nurses were attentive, and the post heart attack education done by a special doctor was SO excellent... my husband who has been a heavy smoker for 68 years... All of them are joyous, effervescent enthusiastic warm caring GENUINE folk! Just love them all! They play low, any kind of music you want and LIFT your spirits with their laughter. This is a major major reason why my husband recovered so completely.
