My supervisor saw me and suggested I go see a chiropractor the parents on her son's baseball team really liked. In a nut shell, my supervisor scheduled an appointment on my lunch hour and I hobbled in tears into Dr. Mikes office. I received an in-house xray , diagnosis of sciatica, and a gentle adjustment. l walked pain free out of that office. He just needed to get the pressure off my spine. In order to get any help, they make you commit to signing up for x number of visits. You are financially obligated to pay for these visits, even if you decide not to come back. I am sure that a representative of this company will get on her and respond that it if "for your own good" (as if we are children incapable of sticking to a treatment plan). I have also spent a decent amount of time in the waiting room. On the plus side, Dr. Pelphrey is competent in the actual treatment. The staff is friendly. That is why I am giving three stars instead of one.

There's no excuse for racially biased misogynistic behavior in 2023. Mr. Sullivan called me…read more"aggressive" for knowledgeably asking questions about billing after multiple staff members state blatantly false information, tells me I am not listening while he mansplains, and asks "how do you expect me to live on $50 for 30 minutes?" as an explanation for why it should've been obvious that all 15 minute visits have a co-pay of $50 (in actuality, $50 for 10 minutes). All odious behavior that Mr. Sullivan exhibited. And then the gaslighting responses from Mr. Sullivan being, "I'm sorry for the confusion," or "I'm sorry that you feel misled" and then aggressively repeating "I've already apologized" whenever you're stating there was a lack of transparency regarding billing practices, including on the forms signed that were recalled as "evidence" of me being informed (when in reality, it was more written "evidence" that I was misinformed). TIP for Sullivan: An appropriate response would have been, "It's an extra $20 for active release therapy, which is not covered any insurance companies. Someone should have told you beforehand, which is an error on our part. I apologize that multiple staff members misinformed you. We will try to do better in the future." Extremely inappropriate is 90+% of Mr. Sullivan's response, on top of his borderline fraudulent billing procedures and untrained staff.
