I get there and they tell me they'll replace it under warranty but I have to wait until the mechanic, who looks like he's in no hurry to do anything, to do another tire, and then a PM. I let them know my clock is low and that's going to mess up my next day. In short, they said they didn't care. I shouldn't have to deal with this. Messing up my clock and possibly costing me money. It should have been done right the first time.

I actually witnessed a staff member "clean" the private bathrooms and I didn't see her scrub anything. The bathroom smelled just as bad as when the other customer left it (yikes), to which she complained about the smell and did nothing to remedy it. The overall location was congested with long lines and slow staff. Benefit: Their washers and dryers took credit card as well as coins. Super convenient so you don't have to pull out money from the atm. Food: There's a McDonald's inside; however, the staff seemed stressed out with an attitude. They really seemed like they hated their jobs. Also!!! There's a Culver's right next door which has friendly staff and great food.

When we asked if someone could help us, one of the employees responded, "You're gonna have to wait your turn, pal," and then walked away toward the back. This was not simply a matter of having to wait. The problem was the employee's disrespectful tone, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for the customers standing there needing assistance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking customers to wait when employees are busy, but there is a professional and respectful way to communicate that. Management needs to seriously look into the behavior and customer-service standards at this location. Customers are the reason the business is operating, and they should not be made to feel ignored, disrespected, or like they are bothering employees by asking for help. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the behavior appropriately. The employees representing Pilot should understand that their attitude and behavior directly affect the company's reputation.

The CB Shop (Real World Electronics) has stolen my $399.99 radio. It was dropped off 8 months ago,…read morecalled them at least 35 times and no answer. Stopped by 6 times in person and the CB Shop is NEVER open. Talking to the employees and manager, all say they haven't seen the owner of the CB Shop for weeks. Aside from the horrible CB shop that steals radios, the Truckstop is clean and friendly workers. The restaurant has always been very good. Friendly servers and fast proper cooked food. The food is expensive, but you never leave hungry. Probably the cleanest restrooms in the Midwest. Good job there. July 2015 update: I have still not received my property back and the management says they can't do anything about it seeing as Real World CB shop just rents space from them. Out of a $400 radio. I'm glad I payed attention and that was only because it took the cashier so long to ring me up. After I saw it I declined to purchase it. I just payed for the drink. MITHU made my experience very uncomfortable after he told me that if I kept "arguing" with him, I simply told him that I knew that I needed it, he would refuse a valid government issued ID as it was not the hard copy - to which he knows that anyone in possession of a temporary ID is currently awaiting their hard copy to come in the mail. I did tell MITHU that I'd be reporting him for making such a simple transaction a difficult experience for me. The lack of professionalism is at an all time high inexcusable as it is prejudice. Temporary ID or not, as long as it is valid and not expired, it is generally accepted everywhere else. I hope that in composing this review, something snaps for MITHU and it registers that unless someone is deliberately causing harm and/or creating a disruption, it is not OK to bend the rules just because he has a very fragile ego. There's a solution for that... therapy. After all, business is business. I will not step foot into nor will spend another dime in that poorly ran excuse of an establishment.

We stopped at a gas station, yelped auto repair, and found this gem that saved our trip. We get there, they check out the vehicle in no time, fix it (for a great price) and we are back on our way in less than 15 minutes. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I wish we had them closer to Chicago! We highly recommend it.

The owner is very experienced, knowledgeable and skilled and he is involved in each service. They are fair, cost effective and straightforward, providing information, advice and options along the way. The owner is the type who tells you what's needed, what may be needed in the near future, and even when its potentially time to let the vehicle go because repairs are going to get costly. They respect the customers' interests. A trustworthy and skilled mechanic is a gem. That's why we keep going back.

I waited there 25 min and then I got out to ask him will he open the door he said he was close mind you a gentlemen cam up 10 minutes prior and said that he will be back in 20 minutes also I had been thee already seven minutes. Regardless he told the guy he would open back up and told me that they were closed. This man always always has a messed up attitude EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT around this time or when he's working. He had to have turned away like 15 cars. Smh I am sure his superior wouldn't be happy to know that he closed up shop early and blatantly and rudely refused several patrons.
