I live in Milford, OH a mile away from the Thortons gas station. On Thursday March 12th 2026 after filling up my car I dropped my wallet at your station at - 798 OH-28, Milford, OH 45150.  I wrote this and sent to Thortons customer service. I did not know where I lost my wallet until your employee left me a Facebook message asking if I lost something at the Thortons gas station.  Unfortunately I did not see this message until Sunday.  I called Thorntons but they told me the employee doesn't come in till noon Monday 16th 2026. I went to the station at 12:30 and spoke to the employee. Then employee immediately got sad and apologized to me. The employee said they did not work the weekend and told me that the draw where they kept all the left and lost items was thrown away on the weekend.  I was astonished since my wallet had my driver's license, credit card and $70.  I thanked the employee since they took the time to notify me. Employee told me a customer found it and turned it in with all the money and items in the wallet. I asked if I could look in the garbage to see if I could find it. I was told they did not know when the garbage gets picked up. The manager would know. They got the manager to talk to me. I asked when they pick up the garbage. He said they come several times a week. I asked why would you thrown out items. He said in a week all the items would over flow the draw.  I said even wallets. He said yes. I asked him if I could look for my wallet. He pointed to the dumpsters and gave me permission.  I looked at both dumpsters, one just had new boxes in it the other was empty.  A policy of throwing out wallets with drivers licenses in them is wrong and unacceptable.  Employee said they were trying to do the right thing for me and even saw I was a vet on my driver's license.  Most stores at least take the wallet with a driver's license to the police station. To have a policy to throw out wallets after two days is wrong. I want someone from your corporate office to call me to understand this policy and change your process so this does not happen to another customer.   It's rare to have a stranger turn in wallet intact to a store employee. Then the employee contacts the customer, only to have a policy preventing the item being returned to the owner because it is thrown out. Two outstanding deeds erased by one bad action. Thortons told me that there was nothing they could do. I was astonished, confused and disappointed!!! read more

Briefly stopped here to get some gasoline while I was in the Cincinnati area. This gas station was convenient because was right off the highway and it features plenty of gas pumps. The hardest part is trying to get back to the highway. Prices here we're pretty fair as well. Modest restrooms, decent, friendly service as well. Overall, I found this place as okay location to check out. read more

I would like to commend these guys for doing such a great job keeping up with all of the volume and traffic that comes in and out of there. In this day and age where it's hard to find good help especially at a 24 hour suburban gas station or some times might be slower than others they really do a good job keeping the place clean and stocked. read more

The staff is always friendly, and the store is always clean. Pretty reliably the best prices on gas too. I dislike that the whole chain of stores has gotten rid of the larger sized fountain drinks (32 oz. is the biggest you can get), but I understand the marketing value of being able to say, ".89 for any sized drink!" read more

Living in old Milford and working on 28 makes Thorntons the go-to stop. I usually don't get gas here because I go to Kroger and use my points, but I always buy drinks and cigarettes here. Huge store, lots to chose from, and there's hardly ever a line. Great corner store! read more
