Buyers Beware!!! I recently had knee replacement surgery and I was in need of a TED hose. I live out of the town of Pueblo and called this company speaking with a salesperson named Marcus. Marcus took my information and set aside a pair of stockings. I then paid $49.44 for the item My daughter picked the item up (since I was unable to drive) and delivered them to me. I took the stockings to my PT and was told these were not what I needed and to return the item. The item was never opened and took the item back to the store where Marcus told me there will be NO refund. I've never done business with this company before and I certainly will not be returning to this company if ever I'm in need of such equipment or items. I don't know why this should present such a problem for a measly $49.44 refund. I'll be sure to convey this story to at least 15 other people and suggest if they are ever in need of orthopedic equipment they should not do business with this company! read more

Went in needing a replacement wheel for my dad's walker and Brian went out of his way to get the wheel replaced so that my dad wasn't without his walker for any longer than need be. We really appreciated that because most other places would have just let a person go without a walker until the replacement wheel was shipped to them. This has been the one place that has always met your needs with fast, friendly and knowledgeable service and this occasion just reaffirms that it will continue to be our go to place for our medical needs. read more

The people who work at this medical supply store that is directly across from St. Mary's hospital need clear training in how to treat their customers with love and kindness for sincerity was missing the day that I looked at a bath bench; I used the word "tall" as in too tall and was immediately corrected with emphasis on the word HEIGHT-making sure that I knew there was protocol in word usage at their business. Another worker made sure I understood that the holes in the sides of the legs could be used to adjust the chair "higher". I wanted no more of the workers' uppty-upness and replied "that was obvious besides I had already stated I needed one that could go lower. Then, there was the person who processed my credit-card statement. I will not go into her less-than loving attitude; overall, any customer who experiences their high-brow approach should walk out and go to a more caring business such as Broadway Pharmacy. read more

I went in for help with a 4 wheeled Walker that needed work. I also needed an extension on my Walker because I'm having surgery on my hand soon and man that helped me was so nice and friendly and patient! He listened what I had to say and fixed my problem. Although I was not able to have the extension fitted to my 4 wheeled Walker I returned the next day with my 2 wheeled Walker and the lady Tonya helped me. She was so friendly and very nice and patient with me! There was even a lady there that offer me a water which I needed very bad. That was very nice and thoughtful! I appreciate all of you at Thornton's medical and I will definitely be back for more of my medical needs. Thank you, you're definitely the BEST medical supply store I've had to shop with!
