So trying to find another headset. But we always just get thru it. Not sure what's going on today... Definitely this office is having issues today! The second surgery was done in Sioux Falls at Opthalmology Limited. I was diagnosed with Wet MD this August & have had eye injections done by Dr. Thomas. The last two injections have been done in Mitchell at the Mabee Eye Clinic. The appointments are run like a well oiled clock. Yesterday, I left at 11:50 from work, had the scan, eye test & injection. I was back at work at 12:30. Great professionals and staff!

And then, on top of that, they tend to "try out" new non-formulary treatments (read expensive and not covered) without any real discussion with the patients. I wouldn't be surprised if there were financial incentives between the pharmacy sales representatives and clinics to push those instead of less expensive options that work as well. And their financial people seem to have difficulty with communication. They struggle getting even simple pre-authorizations and seem offended if you call with even a simple question. I'll be going to Vance Thompson in the future.

She is the only doctor i have ever known that seemed truly concerned for her pacients on a personal level. I have trouble with needles and a real phobia of most doctors offices, but Dr Miller always found a way to make an uncomfortable situation much more bearable. Over the years she has always been friendly and professional in a way that makes you feel you can tell her anything and she will be honest and take true interest in what you say. She is very knowledgeable and has always found a way to help my family with a diversity of problems. To my great joy, I even found out that she is ob/gyn and after helping me through a difficult pregnancy, she also delivered my son! Through all the years and different things going on in my life (from a single kid fresh out of high school and broke to new marrage concens to the birth of my child and his health) I have never found one reason for complaint. My only misfourtune is a recent move out of state which makes it impossible for my family to continue to see her. She will be greatly missed! You cannot do better for a doctor!
