The environment is positive, friendly, open, caring, nurturing and fun. Our children love the school and their teachers. The administration is hands-on, they listen very well and often incorporate feedback from the parents. The academics and faculty are top-notch. The teachers help students reach their full potential everyday. The facilities are outstanding and well maintained. The maintenance team works so hard to keep everything clean and in great condition. Wheaton Christian also has a very nice selection of programs and sports to ensure a rich experience inside and outside the classroom. The staff and faculty are warm and sincere, and it's apparent that they genuinely care about their students. There are lots of extra-curricular activities which our children have really enjoyed. Many parents seem to be very involved in helping out and it's a nice community to be a part of. Overall, we are very pleased with the school and the costs. Well worth the investment.

I was not familiar with the layout of this school and I found the location for early voting strictly by accident when I was turning around. So, the front entry is obviously locked and as I drove along side the school, there were several doors and windows ~ blocked with piled chairs. So, obviously that was not the entry. There were campaign signs but only 1 early voting sign with an arrow. It was back near the track. I commented to the judges about the difficulty locating the correct entry door and the woman who entered after me really let them know about the difficulty and not using her indoor voice. I surmised this was the gymnasium of the school. It was clean and very well air conditioned. In my day we had to make it through the day with only fans. Voting booths were well spaced but they use paper ballots and you have to fill in the boxes with the provided pen. It serves the purpose and I was able to accomplish my civic duty. Don't give up ~ head to the back near the track.

My favorite classes were math, science, and chorus. I especially want to make note of the chorus teacher. This young man was a pleasure to watch work!!!! He was incredibly patient, energetic, and engaging!!! I was in band in middle school as a kid and would have loved to have a teacher like him when I was in school. The other classes were fun as well. The kids were kind and friendly which says a much about the staff!!! Keep up the good work everyone at Croan, I feel my tax dollars are well spent.
