So I ring them up and do what she says, the appointment is all set, I turn up and I am quickly attended to, the dentist comes in and I have no idea if he is Mayank or not but he is very good, very gentle. He gives my teeth a check and amazingly says I only need a couple of small fillings, don't dentists always say you need about 50 of them. Anyway in 20 minutes I'm finished, no anaesthetic needed, I'm a brave girl. And when I go and pay, I ask the receptionist, was that Mayank, Yes it was Mayank, Oh thank god or my neighbour would have told me off I'm sure. Oh and very reasonable price too. If you need a dentist do come here, I think he also has a practice in Mairangi Bay.

I was talked to pretty harshly and condescending regarding my teeth brushing and flossing skills. I'm all for learning to perform better, but not when someone is being rude about it. Returned days after due to excruciating tooth pain afterwards, and they said I pretty much had no choice but to extract my tooth. This day and age, and given how old I am, I thought that sounded pretty prehistoric. I went somewhere else and received a second opinion, who thought that procedure was outrageous and provided other options. Thumbs down

The…read moredownside here is only that, this being a less than massive shop, you don't get a huge range of either service, or at least not as much as you would in a larger place - or one that didn't have its attention divided. But this is probably not really an issue. Certainly the few times I've been here they were able to sort me out with whatever I needed, so they have at least the more obvious range of both a pharmacy and a post shop (I've never gone in asking for anything obscure or weird, so I can't say how they'd deal with less common requests). The service here has always been polite and professional, and although I have had to wait in line, it's never been for very long.

I've run the gamut of physicians from Western to Eastern medicine and have decided that physiotherapy was the answer. If you've got any musculoskeletal issues I'd highly recommend seeing Bryce. He is the perfect mix of professional and friendly. He knows his stuff and can explain your medical problems in laymen's terms. More importantly, he's not arrogant or pushy. He doesn't try to sell his services, rather the service he offers is strong enough to sell itself. I know he also accepts ACC and does hospice. You couldn't ask for a better man!
