I didn't get to check it out, but there's also a downstairs lounge with a full liquor bar where you can also view the show. I appreciate the security when you walk in, metal detectors and staff members who very politely made sure everyone was safe. Scanning our tickets and entering was a breeze. Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming! We were standing at the barricade, so we chatted with the security guards and they were some of the nicest workers I've met at a show! They had lots of water bottles on hand to pass out to anyone who needed it, which is always great to see. The bands sounded great and we had an awesome time. We're already looking forward to the next show we can catch here!

There's a garage next door to the hotel though if you need close parking. Before the show we attended a bourbon/whiskey tasting in the speak easy below the main floor. Super cool experience. Got to watch the sound check for the opening band on a tv screen while in the speak easy. Also we met Arson, the guitarist, who joined us to talk about the booze. When it was over we were able to go to the main floor before anyone else was let into the venue. We got right on the rail! Worth every penny! Sound quality was fantastic and clear. They have massive fans blowing air and this is possibly the only concert I've attended where I was cold and not sweating in the pit. Nice touch Orange Peel. Nice bar, great crew, space for merch booths in the back. This is a quality entertainment venue small enough to fly under the radar. Thumpasaurus recorded us for their upcoming live album, and they debuted their new song 1 hour and 26 minutes early. Immaculate ladies' room. For those not aware, One Stop is the smaller downstairs venue, with an entrance on College Street, connected to Asheville Music Hall thats larger and upstairs, with its entrance on Patton Avenue. One Stop is always been my destination in Asheville when I've been out on the town but want to grab some late night pizza slices before I head over to my room for the night. It's late, I've had some drinks, and the food is exactly what I want: hot and ready pizza. To boot-there's usually a swank little band playing at the One Stop at the same time, and usually its free with the expectation of tips being given. So give tips. Eat Pizza. Have a beer. Listen to music, all between the hours of 12 am till it closes, then head home. That's the recipe for enjoying yourself at One Stop.
