Nora is a miracle worker; had a jaw clicking issue for years that she fixed in one session. When I returned for a follow-up, there were no issues. Highly recommend cranial-facial osteopathy ($220.00 initial, $190.00/135.00 follow-up). Have also tried manual osteopath, where she incorporates massage and active stretching. The degeneration has progressed from my neck down to L5 and i have a lot of lower back pain. As a result, I have suffered from sciatica for about 5 years, but it became very acute about 7 months ago, so I had acupuncture for 4 sessions which didn't do much. Then I went to physiotherapy twice a week for a month with strict instructions to do exercises a minimum of 3 times a day. That did not bring much relief, so I had traction and physio, then IMS and traction. I spent thousands of dollars and none of it brought a lot of relief. In fact the IMS made it worse. I started going to yoga which helped and met a shiatsu trainer who suggested I go to an Osteopath. After the first session with Vincent Durroux, I felt different and the following 3 days, I had little pain. It was such a different feeling, of not enduring chronic pain! After two sessions with him, I feel so much better. My pain is not completely gone, but combined with the yoga, it is manageable.

I was on vacation and woke up in pain so decided to book an appointment to get acupuncture done. I told her which part of my body was in pain (mainly my neck). She focused on my hand and feet which I know has connections to my neck but in the past when I've got acupuncture they mainly focus on the area to subside pain immediately. Which wasn't the case here. I was still in pain, she decided to do cupping on me which I also DID NOT ASK for and would have liked to know prior to, considering I'm on vacation and didn't want marks all over my neck. Once the session was over I told her I was still in pain. She did some local needling but it felt like staples were going into my head. Which I realized was part of the cupping. Honestly, I've done acupuncture numerous times and never really felt pain. This was the most painful experience of acupuncture I have ever had. I'm still in pain today, if not more..... I will have to go see someone else again today.
