Previously I had enjoyed going to this store, friendly staff, clean, bright and well organized…read more Sadly, this was not the case this time. I went to the store because I had received an email (see below) that they were having 30% off. It's about a 35 min drive for me. When I walked in a gentleman was the only person there. I asked him about the sale. He said it was only Pfaff machines and accessories. I pointed out the signs displayed and my email, and he just kept rereading it out-loud. Like he was trying to justify what he told me. Anyway, finally, he asked "well, what exactly did you want to purchase with the discount?" I had already told him notions, stabilizers, etc. Frankly, I felt offended by this question. As if I needed to beg him for each item. So I simply said, "nothing, thank you" and left. Meanwhile, I'm still getting emails, one today saying the sale ends tomorrow, and please post review to yelp, Facebook etc. So here is your review, sorry.

I'm now being told they will only do a quantity larger than what I have typically given them. She also told me it's been their policy for 10 years. Immediately a sudden feeling of doom washed over us as the lighting was subpar, the lack of background music, no customers and looking to be on the verge of going out of business. Once outside in the sunshine the hope returned that maybe we'd live to see another day, maybe even another Michael's. It's been months and we've yet to step into another. This Hamburg location is one of two Hobby Lobby locations in central Kentucky. This one is super…read moreconvenient to the interstate and near a bunch of other stores that you absolutely spend an entire day shopping in. I'm actually surprised that this place hasn't put Michael's out of business. Both are very similar and close to the other, but Hobby Lobby has a ton more to choose from. HL has a LOT more home decor than Michael's. My daughter is an artist and I often find myself at Hobby Lobby. I'll use the excuse of her artistry supply needs to feed my home decor shopping habit. The home decor is plentiful... I could spend a year's worth of pay at one time, but I have to use self-control. They have what I believe to be the area's largest selection of artificial floral supplies. I've used the framing services several times and it was always on time and I was always satisfied with the results. They have an electronic, scannable 40% off of one regular priced item promo code on their app... just a suggestion... thank me later ;)
