I have no idea what kind of medication or needle they used to numb my jaw, but it was better than when I had my wisdom teeth removed. He is kind, has excellent bedside manner, was gentle when working on my mouth, discussed the procedure with me with options and modified my pre-op medications to my needs, gave me thorough post-op instructions, and saw me post-op without hesitation. He even took time to discuss my son's concerns for wisdom teeth removal while he was there at my post-op visit. And the office personnel were equally wonderful, kind and informative. The procedure was explained and I was given the exact amount the insurance would cover and what my obligation would be, which I was delighted to find was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller and Pure Oral Surgery in Richardson, and would not hesitate to return should the need arise.

While I was literally still lying back in the dental chair, she approached me and pressured me to pay the bill up front. They asked me to pay $122 out-of-pocket for a pulp cap without even submitting a claim. After I forced them to submit it, my EOB showed I only owed $13.20, yet they illegally kept the $56 in-network plan discount instead of fully refunding me. - The dentist gave me a numbing injection and left to see another patient. She took so long to return that the anesthesia wore off, forcing me to endure a second round of injections just to get the filling done. - They submitted a pre-determination to my insurance for a crown, which was never once discussed with me. I was only there for a basic filling. Always double-check your EOB before paying this clinic a dime.
