The prices are really good and we were able to select our frame, which is included in the price. We received a discount off the already sale price for being new customers. CP, the manager, was very warm and welcoming. He was personable and took the time to get to know us, asked our names, where we were from, etc. He was very helpful in showing us different sizes, frame styles and other similar paintings that we may like. I highly recommend stopping into the Cape May Art Gallery for an enjoyable browsing or shopping experience. Say hi to CP!

I didn't have a great experience and honestly feel the need to warn people about this product. If…read moreyou stroll down the mall there are other art galleries, with similar sized originals and prints going for quite literally 100x more than the items here. A cautious shopper should wonder why that is. Upon entering, I noticed that these items appeared mass produced, as if a shop in China just cranked them out. Look closely and you'll see the same barn and silo over and over, with simply different color schemes and seasons around it. I asked the salesperson "Where do your artists come from? Are they local?" And she replied "oh they're from all over." Interesting... vague... so I pointed to a piece "Can you tell me about this artist?" and she replied "I think my brother-in-law painted that one." A joke? But again a curious deflection. Reading these Yelp reviews makes me raise my eyebrow even higher. "50%-70% off" seems to be an ongoing, continuous sale for the past 5+ years. One reviewer pointed out that she received an additional discount for being a new customer. Another for being a return customer. This isn't art. This is tacky. Ask any artist. Stroll down the mall into the other galleries and see what real art looks like, and how real galleries interact with customers. The goal of Cape May Art Gallery is in volume - to get people to buy as much of this faux art as possible to make a profit. That being said, people are comfortable decorating their walls with art from Home Goods and Marshall's, and that's fine. Just know that it's a similar quality here, despite being originals. If it seems too good to be true...

My mom and my sister wanted to go to the Cape May Linen Outlet before we left Cape May. I, on the…read moreother hand, was not too excited about the prospect of looking at linens. But I came along anyway and was very pleasantly surprised! We went in to buy my grandmother a quilt for her new bed. We had some great options- some beautiful ones for $85+, and some cheaper (but still nice) ones around $40-50. We found a $45 quilt that she will really like. My mom felt that some of the prices were much better than you'd find in other places, and some of the prices were about the same. Along the way, we all managed to get sidetracked. I bought an adorable green striped apron for $12. My mom bought a bunch of striped dish towels for 50 cents each, 2 kinds of pillows (one blue with white seashells and one with red/blue stripes) for $10 each, and potholders. My sister bought some sheets for a twin-size bed which were really cheap (I believe about $15 each). The people working in the store were very friendly and offered to help us multiple times. The store wasn't very big but had a lot of fun things in it (even for someone who doesn't like linens!). It did, however, get crowded- even though we were there about 10 minutes after it opened. If you're looking for anything linen-related and you're on a tight budget, definitely check out Cape May Linen Outlet!

I went into Maryann's in October 2022, sort of reminded me of a pawn shop, but saw a beautiful Aqua/Diamond ring. The sales person Donna showed me the ring and said from the sales ticket it was $2695. I also asked about the grading of diamonds (color, clarity etc.) She said it would have to be appraised. I found this odd. I didn't purchase it because I wanted to shop around. We went back to Cape May in February 2023 (a few months later), and went into Maryanns shop. The same ring was there, I asked again to see the ring and she and told me the SAME price $2,695. I told her I was interested in the ring but can she do better on the price. She said she would call the owner. I heard her tell the owner ALL details of the ring including the price. She said we can take $500 off which would make it $2,195. I said I would be willing to pay $2,100. She told me she would have to ask the owner and would call me. She took all my info. She called shortly after, left a message on my answering machine(which I still have) confirming to sell me the ring for $2,100. She was sending it out to be appraised. I didn't hear anything for about a month, finally Donna called and said the ring was appraised at $4000. I said great, and confirmed I was paying $2,100. She said absolutely, that was the price agreed to and they would never go back on that. She also said if I wasn't interested to let her know because the ring would be put back out on display and the price would be raised. I told her I wanted the ring. She told me she would message me the appraisal. She never did. Another week goes by...I talked to Donna and was told my ring is at a different shop of theirs, to call and they would ship the ring from that store. When I called, I was told the ring was a higher price $3,295, but she would sell it to me for $2,700!!! I explained that was not the price agreed upon. I was so disappointed and mad that not only was my time waste for month, I was deceived!!! I will be reporting the store to the Better Business Bureau! DO NOT BUY FROM HIS SHOP!
