He walked me through the entire process and post-op visits, and he's a genuinely nice, easygoing person who communicates clearly and puts you at ease. His office was also very accommodating, especially considering I traveled from out of state for the surgery. This would have been a 5/5 experience, but unfortunately I ran into issues with the office handling the required paperwork for state disability benefits. Despite following up more than 15 times via email and phone and receiving multiple assurances that it would be taken care of, the paperwork was never filed, which resulted in me losing my state disability benefits (up to $1000). While the office handled my medical insurance and short-term disability insurance without issues, state disability paperwork seems to be different, and this part was not managed successfully. I feel little sorry for them because of so much paperwork they had to do for my case, and they are not used to work with different states disability benefits, but I tried my best for them providing all the neccessary information and help them to file necessary papers. From a surgical and clinical standpoint, I highly recommend Dr. Stosich. I just wish the administrative side, particularly state disability paperwork, had been handled with the same level of care. I was a bit of a special case coming from out of state, so I don't expect most patients to have issues on the administrative side.

Dr Hopkin did a great job explaining everything I needed done as well as aftercare. He was super personable and professional. Their front desk staff and office manager answered any questions or concerns I had promptly. I had to contact my insurance often for my procedure and Emilee made sure to follow up and help throughout the process so she could to get it handled. I highly recommend this office and I'm so glad my dentist recommended my procedure to be done here! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Both door were tightly locked up. No one in sight. No sign saying that they took emergency dental patients. I thought I must be in the wrong place. I called around for 20 min or more called some of the other places that I had talked too. It was determined that I was in the correct place. So I called them and asked if someone could kindly let me in. Well she said she asked someone to come and let me in, but she obviously did not send anyone to let me it. The door staid no patients are allowed in that way. Only staff. I believe what I read. I guess she thought it was funny to let me wait outside in over 95 degree weather. Must of got a really good laugh out of it. They left me outside. I finally got in my car 20 min or so later. Hot and frustrated. I would just skip this place. They clearly don't need your business. Unless you want to be locked out in the sun. Pretty rude if you ask me. Wow, Read the other reviews. They got alot of one stars. Hmmm, I guess I was not the only one that had a problem with them. Reading the other one star reviews. I realize that someone upstairs was protecting me from not getting any work done from this dentist. I am not even sure if this is the same doctor or no. I only saw the names of 2 dentists. One was Japanese. Now I now that it was better that they kept me locked out in the sun. I think I probably dodged a very expensive bullet. If they are desperate enough to work on Saturdays when most dentists won't there is a very good chance there is something wrong with their care. Please stay away from this horrible place.

I could not have had a better experience. It was my first surgery ever so I was really nervous but Dr. Israelsen was so nice and comforting. Dr. Israelsen even gave me a call later giving me his cell phone number in case I had any questions. I'll definitely recommend them to any friends and family looking for an oral surgeon.

I strongly urge others to take the billing concerns shared by previous patients seriously (Google…read moreReviews). I initially trusted the positive reviews, which unfortunately led me to this dental office--an experience I regret. Despite having active Delta Dental coverage, I was charged $39 out-of-pocket for a regional block anesthesia because, according to the office, my insurance "denied it." After personally contacting Delta Dental, they confirmed the charge should not have been applied and even contacted the dental office on my behalf. This indicates a troubling pattern of unbundling services in a way that bypasses insurance coverage. Additionally, they will try to get you to use "better quality materials" that is not covered by insurance--something not clearly explained upfront unless you ask them and to remove it they add it on and only remove if you read the paper and ask them about it (e.g Nano-Hybrid Composite). When I questioned the charges, the office threatened to send the unpaid balance to collections, citing "Utah law" as the reason patients are responsible for all uncovered portions and said they could work a "payment plan" as to balm their charge as if they are helping you instead of correcting the error. This practice also uses high-end x-ray machines and frequently performs excessive imaging, which appears more designed to increase billing than improve patient care. These unnecessary x-rays result in inflated costs to the insurance. In total, I paid $209 out-of-pocket for a routine cleaning and the removal of a single wisdom tooth (that's with having Delta Dental insurance coverage )--despite Delta Dental confirming my total out-of-pocket cost for everything should have been only $170 (So, I basically paid $39 extra (reg. block anesthesia | something I should have not been charged for - unbundling). This discrepancy raises concerns about whether this is a case of unethical billing practices or a lack of proper understanding of insurance protocols. I lean more towards unethical billing practices because this Dental Office has done it to other folks as-well, I understand mistakes, but it's happened what seems like a lot to other folks as well based on the low-star reviews, now me included. Based on my experience with billing here--and similar reports from other patients--I recommend seeking care from a dental provider that prioritizes transparent billing, ethical practices, and patient trust.
