Was very rude and unpersonal and actually good thing she was a vet and not a doctor. She once snapped when found out I had other animals at home was u gonna fix them. Came off as if it's worthless doing these guys if not. ( Sidenote: My other animals are older but one so their already good.). And very dismissive and obnoxious of my anxiety of having my male cats dropped off for their neutering. I told her of my last time I had a male cat who I left to be fixed I hadn't even finished my first sentence before she snarly snapped " how long ago". I then said "well it's been a few yea". I couldn't even get another word said before she interrupted and said "where was this". I responded with in tx. And she snapped back well this is here it's not there. I mean I get she wasn't mental health facility but she was the vet and had not an ounce of bedside manners. Which had me calling and checking on my boys all day. If I was to return it would be through my husband and only because of the vet help who was there very nice tall older lady. Very personal and friendly easy to speak to and also questions without being made to feel ignorant as the vet did. I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10. Bfor no other reason but the resident cats and the office help. The vet needs to learn to be compassionate and not as cold. Wasn't no reason to make me feel venieth her. I mean I was giving her 260 bucks of my money that day. Could had gained it

I wish I had never taken my mini horse, Percy, to Lori Ward for a piece of hay in his eye. She prescribed him 1 gram of Bute per day for 5 days, and on the 7th day, he died on the operating table at an emergency facility after a horrible colic caused by Bute toxicity. I spoke to Lori after Percy died, and I am still waiting for her call back after she assured me she would be checking her records and the correct dosage and would call me back by week's end... she didn't have the decency to call me back. To be clear, Percy weighed 176 lbs, and she dosed him as a 500 lb horse for a piece of hay in his eye. Lori has refused to take any responsibility for the mistake or Percy's death, leaving me with a broken heart, a dead horse, and over $6k in vet bills trying to fix her mistake and failing to save my horse. The surgical notes attached here show that Percy's gut had severe damage, which is consistent with Bute toxicity. His electrolytes were extremely low, also consistent with Bute toxicity. He severely tore his rectum from straining due to the incredible pain despite multiple rounds of pain medication. I live with this every day. Every night before I fall asleep, I see Percy dead on the concrete floor and I think about the last time I kissed his little head and I cry knowing that he would still be with me if I had never taken him to Lori Ward.

Imagine that in January, they "let go" of the best veterinarian that my animals have ever been to and leaving so many customers scrambling to find another doctor for their fur babies. Imagine most of the staff walking out because this doctor was "let go". Imagine now trying to get a simple everyday prescription filled for anxiety medicine for one of my 17 dogs that has very bad reactions to rain and thunderstorms, and being denied. Imagine being blocked from their Facebook page for making a comment. Imagine that the people running this place thinking that "Cloverhaven" (the name) is the reason that people took their animals in, and not the doctors that are no longer there and the staff that walked out. This office was not convenient for me at all to use. It was a 45 minute drive one way to get my animals there, but I trusted the doctors and staff and that's what mattered to me. But now, in my opinion, you should RUN from this place and find somewhere else to take your pets because it sure does seem like they do not care about your pets or their customers. If I could do less than a one star, I would.
